Paint Brush's first art showcase has put her on the edge, but overall she considers it to be a success. Ponies loved her artwork, some even inquired on where to find her for commissioned artwork. She was feeling good for herself for even the generous tips given by a couple of inspired ponies. But now the day is coming to a close, and the bustling city of Canterlot is slowly quieting down for the day. Packing up her gear and thanking the pony who helped host her showcase in the first place, she wandered off aimlessly while her thoughts drift to food. She hasn't really eaten much since this morning.

"I feel like... Tasty Treat. Yeah," she mumbled to herself, heading towards the streets with the local eatery.

Canterlot was a magnificent City, Windy had to admit that it surpassed Thicket's gradeur(the deer capital, and king Aspen's seat) her cousin was right to direct her here to begin this most terrifying, yet excilerating journey, she would write her Magnus Opus, an encyclopedia of ponykind, she glanced at the great spires of the palace that loomed over the city, but her book would be about the everyday lives of the comonfolk, not royalty and politics. but first, she had to see them, walk with them, live with them, and that required traveling, lot's of traveling. and traveling required companions, getting a private guide was too expensive, and it also defeated the purpose of experiencing the land, not as a tourist, but as ponies would. but all this had to wait, her stomach seemed to dictate that trying the local cousine would be the first order of business

All Paint was focused on was going to her favourite restaurant in Canterlot and to satisfy her hunger. She instinctively knew that the place was on the other side of Canterlot and power walked her way through. But her tunnel vision paid little attention to being careful to not bump into other ponies, even when the crowds have died down. After all, she's had a full day of focusing on one job, and she hasn't got out of that mental thinking yet.

But her attentiveness couldn't keep up with her one-track thinking. Before she could get any collection of what happened, she hears a THUD! right in front of her. Her head is in the clouds no longer, realising that she ran into someone--a deer perhaps?--by accident. "Oh! I am so sorry. You're not hurt, right?" She asked, getting back up on her hooves and picking up her art gear and portfolio through levitation.

Windy was scanning her map in order to find where Goldmare street was one of the locals had recomended a respectable inn there, and she was really looking forward to eating and getting some rest later tonig.."AH!" everything started spinning, and before she knew how or why, she was facing the cobblestones, she foumbled around to find her glasses before anyone trots on them, but with no luck, hurriedly composing herself before speaking, she could not see very well, but that was no excuse to not look well
"I am quite alright, would you be so kind as to help me find my glasses? they can't be too far off"
she couldn't really see that well without them, but whoever bumped onto her was picking up their own stuff it seemed

The gleaming city of Canterlot could always be called breathtaking, but it looked even more magnificent from bird's eyeview. At least, that was Imperio's subjective opinion. He was more or less circling above the rooftops, meandering in between taller buildings. Yet, he was on a leash, truthfully speaking. He knew very well he was under a keen, watchful eye of his mistress. Every once in a while she would allow him to tag along to one of her escapades. And although in his eyes they were silly and meaningless, the freedom of open skies seduced him each time.

Still, the day proved quite mundane for the bird. There was hardly anything worth his interest and he was growing weary of this constant... mediocrity. He needed something to entertain himself, anything would do. And that was preciesly when he spotted a tiny accident further down the street. It was nothing major, just two ponies clumsily walking into each other, yet it would have to do. The bird lowered his attitude and landed gracefully, flapping his wings to slow himself down and eventually coming to full stop. He quirkily turned his head, turning a single eye upon the two and surveying them carefully. And that was when a faint glimmer caught his attention. There was an object laying under his talons. It was peculiar, yet Imperio faintly remembered seeing similar objects on some of the city's residents faces. He had no idea why would they wear such a burdensome object. Especially that area behind the glass seemed to be deformed.

The bird quickly moved his head downward and pecked the object lightly. It moved ever so slightly. For some reason though it was quite alluring to him. His head moved in a flash once more and now he grabbed the glasses in his beak and raised his head, holding them tightly. Being able to have a closer look, the terrain behind them looked even more deformed and odd the longer he stared through them. It was somewhat... mesmerizing.

"Ohh! My apologies ma'am!" Said Paint. The impact of running into this unfamiliar creature bounced her back into reality and realised that, huh, she was hurrying for no reason. Her favourite eatery doesn't even close till 7. Collecting her thoughts, she was ready to pick up her glasses... not until a small, colourful bird walked straight up to her and the one she bumped into.

"Um... hello?" But he was already staring off into space. Her words and gestures couldn't get through the curious avian, who seems to be more fascinated by these glasses. What was more weird was that it doesn't seem like the bird that would flinch and fly off. Perhaps it was a domesticated pet? Cocking her head, she gently takes out the glasses via levitation spell from the bird that fell off this deer's face... this deer...

"Oh, wow!" Gleamed Paint, shouting out loud without much warning, "I haven't seen anyone like you before! I-" And just before she realised she was talking ahead of her herself (for the millionth time of her life), she quickly composes herself yet again. "Ah. Sorry, heh. How about I make it up to you ma'am?" Looking at her with a smile, "You look lost. You want me to take you somewhere? I got time."

as she put her glasses on things around her slowly started taking shape, the pony who crashed in to her was a butter colored unicorn, she had a big scar "are you alright miss?" oh wait, that was just a scratch on her glasses, no matter, better there than on the pony
she was startled by her sudden burst, but then she seemed to calm down quite quickly. "I'm not exactly lost as i don't really have a particular destination, thanks for the offer some of the locals recomended the Prancing Filly on goldmare street, but any place i can have a nice dinner and a good night's sleep will do, oh but where are my manners" she put back her hat on her head and extended a hoof "i'm Windy Winters"
