SharpWit 2,873 May 9, 2019 Share May 9, 2019 I'd look into the history of existing cities, how they got their names, consider land marks such as bodies of water, mountains, forests ,and people/figures of importance as inspiration. Heads of state/founders, legendary heros, gods, ect, make use of the language, and slight alterations where needed.

Library in Greek is "vivliothiki". Call the city vivlithio or something.
