If you're a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan like me, I'd like to know your thoughts on which series is the best! Personally, I'm very biased towards the original anime.

I feel like after/at 5Ds was when it started to get..too kawaii. Monsters became, pardon my language, stupid pieces of crap. Arc-V's monsters, to me personally, are...ugh.

Also, those two have the best narratives.

Namely the fact that apparently 4kids thinks kids don't know about death so they made the Shadow Realm bs. 

Japanese versions actually are in touch and not overly sensitive to death and the like.

Or that the game in the show is played differently in the actual card game which confused players. 4kids was notorious for butchering anime. They threw Sonic X into a wood chipper.

Agreed...and the fact that the English dub decided to cut off the text from the cards. Would've been more realistic to just translate the bloody text.

That would have required doing actual work. They were too worried about making everything kid friendly. GX had its fun points but I couldn’t get passed there being a university on how to play a card game.

I'm loving VRAINS right now and I still love 5DS since Synchro's are still my favorite!

Nothing can beat the OG(so far), and honestly I like the mystic side of the series of the first 3 series rather than the more sci-fi of the last 3. Despite the jokes the Abridged series makes at its expense I've heard good things about 5Ds and wanna give it a chance
