Munchlax came back with an armload (and satchel-load) of berries and apples. "Okay, ready to go to town. We need to by lots of food and stuff for the trip!" He then realized that he only had a few Poke coins and sighed. "Okay, maybe someone else can do the shopping? Or we could jump right into the Craggy Coast, I have a friend Blastoise who could get us there. And yes, I have befriended a Blastoise" he added while munching on a particularly shiny apple.

"Do we REALLY need all this food?" Charmander asked Munchlax. Charmander was usually less "obnoxious", but he couldn't take the gluttony. "I think we can leave now. Let's go meet this Blastoise," Charmander grabbed Munchlax by the arm and led him out of the guild. If he wasn't pushed, he would never stop eating.

"I don't have any other ideas!" Scraggy fussed, tears almost welling in her eyes. She then stopped, and realized becoming a team leader was practically a slap across the face. She had to show responsiblity. "So... Leafpunch doesn't sound good?..."

They made their way to a beach not very far away from town. "Ohhh Blastoise, come on out buddy!" called Munchlax. At this point he was already about done with half of his food. Suddenly, a deep voice rang out "Who wakes me from my slumber? Don't make me use hydro pump on you! Oh wait, it's just you Munchlax. What did I say about waking me up this early?"

"ummm it's about 2 in the afternoon...that's not early."

"Whatever. What do you need? And who are your friends?"

"This is Shinx and Charmander. We are going to become a rescue squad," he glowered with pride. "But we need you to bring us to some place called Craggy Coast, I figured that a master water Pokemon like yourself would know how to get there."

"Craggy Coast, huh? That's a little dangerous, dontcha think? Whatever, here get on my shell, I'll bring you. Not sure if I'll be there for you to return back here though."

 

Not sure whether he was serious or not about not bringing them back, he jumped on and urged everybody else to do the same.

"It does not sound good in my opinion. But it is the only thing we can think of . So I guess we are team leaf punch." Treeko was sad about the name but it was the best they could think of.

Charmander was excited, yet scared at the same time. He had never left his hometown. What lied out there, on Craggy Coast? Everyone seemed to think it was dangerous...

No , Charmander. You GOTTA think positive! How else are you gonna become a Charizard?

Facing away from his familiar territory, Charmander did away with his doubts for the future. But still... He nervously played with his tail, fearing yet looking forward to the Craggy Coast.

Chickorta twitched her leaf and looked at tepig. She sat down "Now what?" She looked at her paws(?). They were aching from walking to far,she was tired and all she wanted to do was sleep the day away.

Shinx gulped as she looked at the splashing waves. She really, really...didn't like water. What happens if I fall...? She pushed the thought out of her mind as she snuck a glance at the other two, both acting brave. C'mon, you can't look weak in front of them. Gingerly she followed Munchlax onto Blastoise's shell, saying a quick "thank-you" to Blastoise as she gazed across the ocean.

 

Just hold on and don't look down.

"Come on Chickorta we have to go tell Samurott we finished the mission." When they entered Samurott's quarters he look a bit worried but quickly hid the look when Team Hope came in. "Ah there you are Team Hope. I take it you completed the mission?" Samurott asked. "You bet we did." Tepig responds as Igglypuff jumps from Tepig's back and runs up to Jigglypuff who was also in the room. "Oh I missed you so munch big sister!!" she yells "So did I. Thank you Team Hope, I hope this will express my graduate." Jigglypuff then gives them some berries and coins and both sisters walk out. "So does this mean we're official members of the guild?" Tepig askes. "Yes it does, congratulations. You and the rest of Team Hope may want to rest. You should find your new room in the left wing of the guild." Samurott says as they run out. "Oh and Samurott there was a Ghastlyattacking Iggypuff when we got there who said something about a master. You know anything about this" he asked. "No im..-uh im afraid I don't" he answered with worry in his voice. "Oh well ok." Tepig then left. ~Hmm "Master"? Our worse fears my be coming true..~ Samurott thought.

Chickorta followed tepig glowing with pride. She then cought the worried look in Samurotts face but dismissed it as nothing. She then smiled as she saw how Igglypuff was. Nothing could of made this little chickorta happier then to see them walk off together. She then noticed Tepig turn to leave and she followed. She then went to find her room before opening the door "So... where do you want to sleep?" Chickorta asked.

The party of 3 arrived at Craggy Coast. It was a craggy coastline(as the name implied). "Well, our Solosis was researching something and went missing. So let's find something worth researching." said Munchlax, eating a berry, of which kind it did not matter. "Should we split up or go as a group?" I kinda wanna get back to the guild asap,I'm getting hungry and I'm almost outta food."

"Let's stick together, and get this done," Charmander said, holding on to his tail. He was never this far from home before. Everything seemed so.. alien. He decided to approach the shoreline. Suddenly, a Krabby came out of the waters. "OH MY GOD! W-WHAT IS THAT?!" Charmander yelled, scared out of his mind. He hid behind Shinx, partly for protection, but mostly for comfort.

"It's just a crabby..." replied Munchlax. "hey little guy." he said to the crab-creature. Unfortunately for them, it decided it'd be ok to try to pinch him, so Munchlax used tackle on it. The Krabby fell but soon more and more began pouring out of the water and the crags in the rocks. "That's alot of Krabby!" yelped Munchlax. "Attack, attack!"

"Eep," Shinx sqeaked, watching as the Krabby advanced towards their position. "Our first dungeon exploration and this?" She felt like hiding behind one of her teammates, but while she was pondering what to do, Charmander beat her to it.

Okay, calm down. You can do this. Deep breaths. Shinx advanced forward slightly, more of at a crawl than anything, as she prepared to back Munchlax up with her own Tackle.

Munchlax and Shinx (with occasional support from Charmander) managed to fight off all of the Krabby for now. Munchlax said "Good job, Shinx, I'd share an apple with you but we don't have many left. Or any left, sorry. But Charmander, c'mon. I know your scared and I know you are at a disadvantage to water types but we need you. Don't you wanna grow up and become a Charizard or something? I knew a Charizard, he was my Dad's friend. He was brave." With that Munchlax looked at his two companions and sighed. They were out of food and it was getting late. Why they decided to leave at 2 in the afternoon still evaded him. "Let's set up a campsite and try to find some food. I am starving. Anyway, we can probably find stuff just laying around. I already found like 25 Poke coins."

Guilt spread across Scraggy. "But I feel bad if you're displeased with it...."

"Eh it doesn't matter all three beds are the same." Tepig said still thinking bout Ghastly. "I suppose I'll just take this one." he said as he layed down his the chosen spot. "So what do you think that Ghastly meant by master?" he asked his teammates.

"It will be fine." Treeko said while his stomach growled. "I will eat then be right back." Treeko said while walking to the kitchen.

Chickorta went to lie in the bed next to the window. She did a few circles before lying down. "I don't know... but i sure hope its not scary" she said. She then wondered "i hope its not powerful!"

Archen followed Tepig around until they finally all went to bed. He went to lie in one and slowly fell asleep as the others talked about what Ghastly said before.

"You think this master might have something to do with all the missing Pokemon?" Tepig asked.

Charmander knew Munchlax was right. He did have to make some sort of change if he ever wanted to be a Charizard. Charmander piled logs into the sand to mark where their campsite would be, and used ember to set the wood afire.

Chickorta nodded "No question about it!" She sighed. She looked out the window with a small sigh "but theres nothing we can't face together right?"

"Right." Tepig then circled around and went to sleep.

Munchlax and Charmander gathered a bunch of sticks, wood, and other materials all on the beach. Munchlax even found some apples, even if they looked a little old. Charmander and Shinx, being smaller and, well, less lazy, actually built the shelter while Munchlax held the materials and was used as the occasional stepping stool. After it was finished, they all huddled under it. It was a primitive little abode, hardly big enough to fit the three of them (which was mostly Munchlax's fault) and had only a palm frond roof from some plants that were found on the beach. Munchlax took out the two apples he had found and gave one to himself and split the other in half for his friends. "I'm feeling generous." he replied sleepily. With that, he shut his eyes and slept.
