Not a car thankfully but it was 3 teens on a single bike travelling at a crazy speed on the sidewalk (Not sure if electric bike from that speed? I did not see) slammed into me and sent me flying a good few meters, they did stop and ask if I was okay and were very apologetic and then waited further down the road to check again if I was okay. Ultimately only walked away a little bloodied and I'm sure it was comical to witness but fuck me I'm gonna be sore and stiff tomorrow. 

Could be worse. I was smacked by a bus a year before the pandemic. Sent flying. Lucky I only escaped with a cut chin and bruised ribs.

I hate our world so much, this is why I wished I could be reincarnated into Equestria as a Pegasi. It's not you, you're not the problem, however there are people who hold certain prejudices that make our world difficult to tolerate.

Agreed, we do have that whole DD or DA system. And it’s not helping our case. Most of humanity is far too gone, but we do have a bit of light here. Hell, we should probably count our lucky stars that we have the MLPF.

Didn't think I was the problem. But in all seriousness, self defence classes (karate, kick-boxing, etc). Helped me build my confidence and coordination.

Equestria is so much more peaceful than the real world, I know they have villains in Friendship is Magic still and Equestria gets invaded from time to time, but the real world has had far more invasions, people forget that when they criticize MLP as if Celestia or Luna are somehow bad at their duties. In the real world, humans still manage to cause war on a regular basis, we haven't really earned the moral high ground to criticize what they do wrong, not that we could because they are fictional characters, but in a fantasy world scenario where people attempted it, Luna and Celestia could just as easily complain about the stupidity of nuclear weapons in our world.

It is something that I actively try to do here. The world is not perfect. Nor do you have to be perfect to join this community. We only ask that everyone pitch in to provide a safe, comfortable environment for those who need a break from the harshness of the world.

You know, I would have loved it if Hasbro were to make a My Little Pony FIM movie, that takes place after episode Last Problem, where Queen Chrysalis does something similar to what Ommadon tried to do in Flight of Dragons, use magic to manipulate humans into starting WW3, but gets her plans thwarted somehow when they catch on to what she was doing. A cautionary tale about misuse of technology.

WW3 is already happening with Russia and Ukraine. If it spreads we could be in for a HUGE problem. I’m sorry for bringing up something dark here, but it’s been crushing my head for the last few months.

Humans have been on the dark side of history for a very long time.

I find it laughable that some people out there would think the human military would stand a chance against her if in some fictional world scenario, Chrysalis invaded, if anything she would see humans as easily deceived life forms, and she'd be right in that assumption, she could employ a variety of different tactics to get what she wants, mind control, shapeshifting, an army of clones, take your pick.

if she had invaded our world, our world would have been toast a long time ago.

Is that a good episode? I never saw the series.

I'm just glad we have at least an image of what utopia could be like: Startrek and MLP. Granted we may never see it come into reality, but at least it's a hope. To put a lighter spin on all the dark post right now.

I don't want to spoil it, but the reviews may indicate it for you.

Equestria is not a utopia but it is the closest one we could see in fiction other than the Star Trek example you gave.

Humans are lucky we don't have fictional villains to deal with on top of the real life villains we have in power. It's as I said before, had Queen Chrysalis not been a fictional character and she attacked Earth without opposition, humans would be finished. She is a master infiltrator as shown in episode A Canterlot Wedding, who almost succeeded in defeating Mane Six and Royal Sisters. If she were to do that on a larger scale on the human world, humans would be defenseless. Chrysalis doesn't have tanks, bombs and jets, but what she does have is shapeshifting, all she would need to do is manipulate people into depleting their resources, grinding down their allies, human ignorance would do the work for her. Also, if she summoned windigoes, we're definitely cooked. So yeah, good thing we don't have to deal with her.
