Other forms of Elemental power?

Has anypony else been at least curious if the Elements could be used together differently than portrayed? Like...

This is an image of "Super Rainbow Dash," which is actually widely popular. Just curious what others thought of it and also what if the Elements could be used in this manner.

"Super rainbow dash" is actually a crossover between MLP and Sonic, it's Rainbow Dash doing Sonics super form or something (never played Sonic).

 

That said, I think alicornification is something the elements can do (how Celestia and Luna became alicorns). The elements are the most powerful magic in the pony universe, so it can probably do anything (like reversing Discords chaos). Rainbow lazor beams are probably the easiest thing the elements can do when activated by its wielders.

The show introduced the Elements of Harmony as the 5 things a friendship needs; Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty, plus magic, A.K.A Friendship is Magic. I suspect that the elements were co-created with the Mane 6 to make the series premier work. If there were any more elements, they would have to add an character to the mane 6, thus creating the mane 7, and no one whats that.

These two "spells" MIGHT be examples of what combining various groupings of the elements together look like. The one big thing I have noticed about powerful spells in this universe seem to be empowered by the interpersonal bonds between the ponies involved.
