I know the word is pegasisters but I also remember some girls feeling like it should be bronies. Which it is, I know some use the word pegasister but more do with bronies. Lot like the word "dude" which refers to anyone that's cool a cool dude and that can be either gender. Same with if someone is a bro, lot of bros are girls so it is one of those words that has become the word for both male and female including those who identify as neither if you do that is so it is brony the word for it.

I don’t care if people call me a Brony or a Pegasister, but Brony just sounds better I guess

*Darkest voice possible* Yo, Brony! :ButtercupLaugh:

I think Brony is the better for any gender, keeping the same word. however I wish it wasn't so manly sounding. It should be more like "ponyfreak" or something more friendlier but still non-gender-specific?

Equaines= equals and equine

Equals? That male and female are equal?

MLP has been a female thing since the very beginning. I cannot see the need to have a special group, even if they are older than 8 years. There are 40 year olds collecting G1s still, and they are not seeing themselves as Bronies because they are not into G4 collecting.

No... That humans are equal, hens equines not pony, pegasus, unicorns, kirins....(but kirins are apparently have 2 towsies...) ...not kirins, i suppose zebras.... Apparently equals to an extent that they can share dna.... Not sure if kirins are equines or share dna with the equines
