Splashee 28,564 June 17, 2020 Share June 17, 2020 Lightning doesn't really work that way, so don't worry Windy Electricity always go back to the source, meaning, the lightning usually goes to ground (earth). Standing on the ground and getting struck is the danger. Flying or sitting on power line cables while in air will not shock you, but might tickle a little.
