Ripple would nod as she followed along next to Maud "I see what you mean about Limestone, I'll make sure not to upset her" she'd say "best to also make sure Lilac doesn't get to excited"

Ripple would smile and nod, "I'm sure she means well dear" she says softly "Is there a place we could put Lilac down for her nap?" She would ask Limestone "The excitement of coming here and the train ride really tired her out"

"Well I'm an Archaeologist, and was supervising a excavation of some ruins in the Emerald Isle. Maud just really happened across the site and I knew if her love for geology from what Pinkie had told me, so I asked if she could help, which she did and I offered her drinks at the bar." She begins "Then at the bar, there was this incident when a drunk stallion tried hitting on us, I got a bit too heated and wasted my drink by throwing it all over him. Luckily some of the guards there were friends of my husband when he was still alive, so they got the drunk out...and then we made our way to my house in Canterlot and she met Lilac, and I must say, Maud has this amazing calming sense about her. Lilac is usually running or flying all over the place, but since she's met Maud, she's been really calm" she smiles

Ripple would smile softly at her "You have a rather.. demanding presence" she would say simply "and do I perhaps detect a hint of jealousy?" She'd ask with a little humour in her tone and a wink

Ripple would just smile "It's ok if you are jealous, if you're into mares, I have a friend I could see if she'd be interested" she says with a soft smile, "She isn't loud,  she is a bit bookish and is kind of a occultist"

"Well her name is Wraith, she isnt shy but she prefers quiet to loud and noisy areas. When I say that she's an occultist, I mean she researches the occult and is a exorcist" she explains "She hasn't had much luck with mares though, one mention of the occult and they leave her"

Ripple nods "It is dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, and even then, it can still be very dangerous" she'd say to her "But Wraith doesn't dabble in it, as in she doesn't practice it, she instead researches it so she can better understand it, and she is an exorcist, meaning she goes to haunted locations and clears them of the demon or spirit haunting it" she explains

Ripple would nod "If there's anyone who'd be able to help you, she will" she says and then nods to Maud "Alright, well, it's probably about time for Lilac to wake up from her nap" she smiles a little.

Lilac would stretch and yawn cutely before nuzzling Maud "Is it lunch time yet, mummy" she'd ask as she'd wipe the sleep from her eyes. 

Ripple smiles "I think so sweetie, Maud dear, would you like me to cook you something?"

"How about some nice salad?" She would ask "or perhaps some sandwiches?" She stands up "and should I write to my friend? See if she wants to meet Limestone?" She looks to her with a soft smile

"Sure, I'll write the letter while making the salad" she says as she goes to the kitchen and begun looking around for ingredients, all the while using her magic to write and send the letter

Lilac had followed Maud to her room and was also admiring her rock collection "Mama, that quartz you have there is very pretty, so is that opal and the onyx" she smiles.

Ripple would come out of the kitchen "Salad's ready, dears"

Ripple would smile as she dished out the salad "I heard back from my friend, she ought to be here in an hour" she'd say, sitting next to Maud, smiling "I see you've been showing her your collection"

Ripple would smile as she begun to eat "Mm oh she won't be coming here, here." She says "she's actually got a job at the ranch nearby" she says "so we can see if Limestone wants to meet her there or here"

Lilac smiles "This opal is very pretty'

Ripple smiles "Turns out my friend has a job at the ranch nearby and is eager to meet you" she says "we're also talking about how Lilac loves Maid's rock collection and especially that opal"

Ripple just smiles and gets up, going over to Limestone, "just to let you know, just because she's quiet, it doesn't mean she's a push over, she doesn't take crap from anyone" she'd say with a chuckle and follows her

"I can see that" Ripple would say softly with a nod and follows her, looking around "have you..have you noticed anything strange about the nearby ranch?" She asks her, "also, is something wrong?"

"My friend was given a job there, something about it being haunted by demons or something" she says to her, "she thinks it's some cult causing trouble.. she is researching it's history before going in'

She'd nod "usually weirdness and cults go hand in hand" she would say "Though there's weird and then there's cult weird" she shudders a bit, but smiles a little "but I leave that kinda stuff to the experts"

"Well it happened just as I said. She came across my archaeological dig site, and knowing how she has a knowledge of rocks and how old they are, I asked her to help... As a historian as well, I do my utmost best to be accurate" she explains, and it just kinda goes from there, both Lilac understand her, and love her for who she is..we can understand her, though she is monotone'

Ripple nods "Some ponies are just like that, and it isn't their fault." She says "Lilac has Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder as well as Autism. Lots of ponies find her too much, which makes her sad"

"I do, though recently they seem unnecessary. Maud just has this calming sense about her. When she's around, Lilac is just so calm and happy. It's amazing" she would say to her, following her.

Ripple just nods "Usually, Lilac is very excitable and has a lot of energy, but being around Maud seems to calm her down" she explains and would look at the rock fields "Is rock farming lucrative?"

She smiles "That's good to hear" she'd say "the one time Pinkie told me about you, she said she was very proud of you, being your own business owner and being very good at it" she looks to her and smiles.

Ripple nods "You should do what you love" she'd say with a smile "And Pinkie is very proud of you, I'm sure Maud is as well.. I'm having a small party for Lilac's fifth birthday, Pinkie will be there, if you want to see her"
