Ripple smiles "Don't we all hon" she'd say with a stretch "We can sleep some more on the train if you'd like, it's a long trip" she'd say as she would wriggle out from underneath Maud and grab her bags in her magic.

Ripple would smile, blushing every now and then as Maud brushed against her "You're welcome, I figured you'd just want to go straight to the train station from here" she'd say to her as they soon arrive at the station with about five minutes before the train arrives.

Ripple would happily sit next to Maud and smile a bit more with a blush as Maud would rub her side "You're quite expressive, you know that." she'd say as she nuzzles Maud gently. "Just not with your facial features or tone"

Ripple would nod in agreement "Couldn't agree more. So many ponies seem to think that just saying something is enough" she would say, nuzzling her again and smiling "Well, I'm kinda hungry, you want anything?" she'd ask

She would nod and smile, nodding "Sure we can do that" she'd say, checking for her purse "ah here it is, I won't be long" she'd say as she got up and kissed her muzzle "Try not to fall asleep just yet" she says with a soft smile.

Pretty soon, Ripple would return with a simple green salad share plate. She'd place the plate on the table in front of them and sit back beside Maud "Got us a salad to share" she'd smile to her.

Ripple would look and blush "Oh, you're right, I forgot to ask for two" she smiles "Well I don't mind sharing with you" she'd say, picking up the fork, with her magic and placing some vegetables on it, levitating it to Maud

Ripple would smile at that, enjoying some of the salad as she cuddle up close to Maud with a smile, nuzzling her "You know, there are a few rock formations near my place, I'm sure you'll like them"

"Mm well you can explore them as much as you like when we get there" she'd say "After you've settled in, of course" she eats some more of the salad and drinks on a glass of flavored milk.

Ripple would smile and would offer the glass to her "Hope you like Strawberry milk" she would say and nod "I look forward to it then, to have somepony else live in the house. would certainly feel lot less lonely"

Ripple would finish her food and cuddle close to her "I see, well hopefully it won't take long for you to settle in" she'd look to her as she'd lean on her some more before she fell asleep.

A few hours later, the train would pull up into the Cantelrot station, the jolt of the train stopping would wake Ripple up. She'd yawn and sigh "We're here already?" she'd ask herself, then looked to Maud and nuzzles her awake.

Ripple would stretch "Well, the sooner we get off and go to my home, the sooner we can relax" she says as she levitates her luggage with her magic. "Come on sweetheart, Lilac will be with her governess at the platform"

She smiles "A governess is like a live in foalsitter" she'd say "They look after the foal or foals, make sure they are healthy and teach them" she explains "It's how I can afford to go on digs and be sure that Lilac is well looked after"

Ripple would nod "I'd like that, as much as I love traveling and going to digs, I feel I should be around more for Lilac" she says, and just then a light coloured filly with bright colours in her mane and tail zips over to her and hugs her.

"mommy!" The filly cries

"Hello sweet baby" Ripple would say "Mommy's home" she nuzzles the filly, before she begun to introduce her to Maud "Lilac sweetie, this is.."

Lilac would look over to Maud and gasp "Mommy! I know who she is!" she'd say, going over to her "You're Maud Pie, Pinkie Pie told me all about you" she says excitedly

She gasps "Really!? You and mommy are friends!?" she asks excitedly and then nodding to her question "Yes, I love rocks, I always find Geodes to be very interesting, and they can be so pretty"

Lilac beamed up to her "That's so cool! Do you wanna see my rocks? I can show you when we get home" she'd say, looking up at Maud admiringly "I can't wait to show you, mommy always brings me something from her work"

"Oh yes please" she would say as she walked with them, she was calmer than usual. it must have been Maud's calming presence. Ripple would smile as they walked "there will be a carriage waiting to take us home"

Lilac would notice how close Maud and her mother were being, she smiles "Do you..love my mommy, miss Maud?" she would ask her innocently, making Ripple blush. "I hope so, mommy's been pretty lonely"

Lilac would smile wide "That's so cool!" she'd say, and giggle as her mother would blush but then return the hug to Maud.

Ripple would smile "and I love you too, Maud honey" she'd say, pulling her in for a hug, before putting Lilac into her lap.

Lilac would smile and cuddle into the embrace "Pinkie Pie is organizing my birthday, are you going to be there? I'm sure that she would love to see you there" Lilac would say to Maud "She's very nice, and I love to play with her and the Cake twins"

Ripple smiles "I met her and the other girls one day when I went to visit Rarity for some new clothes" she'd say "And when I heard that Pinkie is the party planner of Equestria, I asked her to help plan for Lilac's birthday"

Ripple would happily lean a bit on Maud "Well, we should be getting home soon. Lilac, I want you to allow Maud to settle in first before showing her your rocks" she'd say, with Lilac nodding, happy to just be held by Maud and her mother

They would soon arrive at the countryside manor. Ripple would smile "Well, here we are, home" Ripple would say, stretching a little, her body in full view for Maud. "come on, I'll show you to our room, then we can rest a bit more before dinner"
