I like seeing when people reply to my statuses but I'm not a big fan of getting notifications for status updates that I didn't willingly participate in. Not just statuses, ANY post in any thread. I can’t figure out how to turn it off. I like seeing statuses, but I don’t need to keep tabs on people at all times. And I can't seem to find how to receive notifications from new status updates posted by users I follow. I don't think it's related to the new Friend System though, or is it? I can't seem to find any notification settings regarding what "friends" post. What I know though is, that the notifications got "iMpRoVeD" with the somewhat recent forum software update (~1.5 months ago). Of course, by "iMpRoVeD" I mean, that the forum software devs made it way worse than it was in my opinion. Users constantly mention wanting to have more settings, and then we see "improvements" that remove some. I'm not sure if you actually mean "friends" or if you're referring to "followers". Perhaps try checking your notification preferences and take a look at this option: Spoiler If you have this enabled, then that may be culprit. Back then there were two separate settings; - Someone I am following makes a post - Someone I follow posts a new status Now I can't seem to find the latter. Did they remove it or something? 22 hours ago, Twilight Sparkle97 said: @JericIf you get a friend request, will the notifications appear on the friend icons or the bell icons? As @Jeric mentioned, it will appear on the friend icon and unlike notifications and messenger, the notification/number ( ) will not disappear if you just view it. It will remain as long as there will be requests pending your action. Optionally, you also get the following notification on the bell icon: The bell notifications can be configured in your notification preferences: Spoiler 1 ❤ ■■■■■■■■■■ ⭐ ■■■■■■■■■■
Sparklefan1234 171,447 February 14, 2021 Share February 14, 2021 Does "Unfriending" someone give you an "Are you sure?" prompt so you don't unfollow someone accidentally if you meant to click the "conversation" button?

It does ask you if you are sure. The following message will pop out: Quote Are you sure you want to unfriend? and you'll have an option to confirm or cancel. 4 ❤ ■■■■■■■■■■ ⭐ ■■■■■■■■■■
