Its very good for a first my first was really not that good.

But the only thing I think you could improve on is the shape of the head well I only really learnt to do it about a day ago.

Three things.

• Printer paper at least ;P
• Use guidelines because it can only make your drawing better
• Use a reference, it helps.

Job well done! taking our first step into drawing another different or new art concept is always a fun, nervous, but a very necessary experience if you plan on continuing.

 

I know you will make fine art, sorry, I'm not much for constructive criticism, I firmly believe each work of art is very unique and divine in it's own perspective.

Thanks for the feedback, everypony! 1st thing's first though, I did use guidelines, but I erased 'em. Sorry for the smudginess of the picture. The camera was not very good, and my pencil's lead was dull. Also, after uploading, I finished the body. (her cutie mark is a microphone.)

Let's see, try using a big circle for the head as a base, then a circle about 1/4 or 1/5 the size of that one to help shape the snout.

I used to not do that and when I started I improved quite a bit.

The body. Yeah, there are some problems, like 3 hooves on one side. But I'm happy with the end result.

You got the muzzle impressively well for a first time.

 

As for the body...pony bodies aren't rectangles. Just erasing the "corners" would make it look more show-style.
