Anybody else excited for this movie? I love the books and the other adaptations of it haven't been great but this looks perfect! I so hope it becomes the next Lord of the Rings phenomenon.

I'm going to re-read the books soon. It's been years. From what I see, they got the eyes right! I forgot that using the Spice made your eyes go blue! I'll give this movie a try!

This trailer was incredible. Denis Villnueve is one of the finest filmmakers working today, so this is a day one watch for me.

The old dune was interesting but also seemed really out there. I guess that's because there's just so much to cram in. Hopefully this version can do the story a little more justice.

Also was thrown off by Patrick Stewart's role in a sci-fi film before going on to do Star Trek.

I saw the original one but that’s all. I’ll probably take a look at the new one because I see almost everything new at one point or another. I wasn’t crazy about the original so I’m interested to see what they do with the new one.
