I need some critique on my first pony oc

So, yesterday at night I drew my first pony oc ever and I need some critique on him. (I couldn't really draw ponies so I draw him in my style of art :D)

 

(That rock in his neclace is just a normal rock. He wears it because he thinks that the rock looks funny so he took it.) I need somepony to critique his design

The color is OK,but better to have more variation.If you can't draw a figure well,find a template to improve.
