My opinion on the show's songs and Rarity's voice have only gotten better

I've always thought Rarity was the best singing voice but that opinion was solidified when she sang Becoming Popular. On top of that this song shows that not every song in the show has to be a showtune, this was more like something I could imagine Madonna singing, there was so much life and color to the song.

 

Definitely an A+ effort.

Well it is a totally different person who sings than who does her voice. Plus I've heard people who speak with a heavy English accent (Bullet For My Valentine) and sing without an accent whatsoever. It's not uncommon.

I loved that song. Personally I think it beats "find a pet" song and goes right up there almost to rival "winter wrap up"... especially with derpy in that scene

I literally had my mouth open in shock when I heard the quality of the voice actor, on a children's show no less. Rarity was locked in as my second favorite since that episode.

No, I think Rules of Rarity is pretty underrated too. I thought of the S5 songs not from a music focused episode it was the best.
