What do you envy about your neighbours?

Happiness, peace, assuming they have it (obviously not my downstairs neighbors). I don’t want to be any of my neighbors though.

I don't know. I know our newest neighbor came from California. I'm envious that she ever had the money to live in a place like that and wish I did as well. I wouldn't live in California, but if I had started there I certainly would have either moved up to Washington or to New England. Not Oklahoma. My neighbor is so strange for moving here.

To be honest, nothing. I know that doesn’t make for a very interesting post, but it’s true. I live in an apartment complex so my neighbors all have the same amenities as I do, and a pretty similar view. And even beyond my apartments the rents are still sky-high and no one really has anything that would make me want to trade living spaces. I don’t need the fancy cars some of my neighbors have because I like my little Smart car. I don’t need a big yard because I hate yard work. I don’t envy the way they dress because my taste in clothing is eccentric by most standards anyway. And I can’t really think of anything else that catches my eye.

I don't envy anything that my neighbors have. I believe it's a sin and ungratefulness to envy. However, I would like a few things that my neighbors have, but liking something that someone else has is different than envying.

So, and they are not really a neighbor across the road or very close to my house, but this person does live in my neighborhood and I pass by them often. Anyways, what they have is a freakin' cool car. It's green and might be a muscle car, and I'd love to have one of those types of cars. It's odd though that this person lives in a trailer yet has this cool-looking expensive car.
