My "adventures" at ROTC summer camp

Ok, so technically it's a sail academy but whatever, ill be here until Friday, and the only time I really have time to spend with you guys is late at night, so I'll be giving a recap of the days events

 

Day 1:

So we arrived, and it's a downpour of rain, eventually we are assigned partners for the sail boats, one thing they do is you share a condo with 5 other guys, my roommates are the shallowest people ever! One of them turned the TV to gymnastics just to look at ass, they are rednecks, but fortunately not too rednecky(if that makes sense) and one of them seems to have a constant boner, and only talks about how "bangable" the wemon on the TV are, the one word I can use to describe life in the condo, shinanigans, every one all pulling pranks on each other, tommarrow we go sailing, hopefully my sailing partner is better

Well, that's pretty not awesome. How old are these guys? Cuz military guys in general can be a bit obnoxious. Best advice I can give is either halfheartedly play along or just remain quiet. Both of those are what worked for me.

I believe I misinterpreted the word "adventure" in the thread title. I was expecting something......naughty. *sigh* I need a boyfriend

 

But anyway I hope your time is a little better. You are unfortunately surrounded by nothing but testosterone fueled, horny alpha males, but hopefully you can find a kinder fella who isnt a douche.

Day 2:

The day started off with sunshine, the morning was a little uneventful, the sailing was actually good, my sail partner was a pretty cool guy, after lunch I was stuck cleaning up after it was done, you don't know how annoying it is when your cleaning while some old lady is laughing at your lack of sweeping skills :/ after that was over we went sailing again, before I go on I need to explain to you the kind of person the man in charge is, he's one of those instructors who favors girls, in fact one of the girls said he hates guys, and it doesn't help that he gets mad at even the smallest misunderstandings, also of you make a mistake or mess up, he will mock you, anyway our sailing was cut short by heavy rain and a forecast showed rain until Thursday, pretty much the rest of the day I watched TV, only thing to mention there is I saw part of the Ukraine vs Sweden game, saw some one head butt the ball and a goal, that was cool

Day 3:

I woke up to the worst possible thing, over sleeping, fourtenantly for me I didn't sleep to long, however when I exited my room the tv was on, it was fox news, great way to start the day right? For most of the day my deck shoes were filled with so much sand it physically hurt to walk, I was able to clean them out later, but for the entire time I had them on... Agony, my heel has already been shredded up, it rained a lot today, I'm surprised we even went sailing, and as usual sailing was fun, until the main instructor gets out there and makes every thing a pain, after it was over he said that tommarrow was supposed to be sunny, however the weather channel and local news disagrees with him, once we got back to the condo, some of my room mates changed the channel and watched a bit of jackass number 2, probably the stupidest things I've ever seem, and it wasn't that funny either, I was able to regain control of the tv however

Let's see who is right tommarrow, the instructor or the weather channel

 

Day 4:

Today was good and bad at the same time, I woke up and turned the TV on to see "no signal" flashing on the screen, a little later we went sailing and as usual, everything was great, with the exception of the instructors incoherent yelling, things started happening some time after dinner, 3 other rednecks entered the house causing a major uproar and a ton of shinanigans, i also found out that these people(including my roommates) arnt just any red necks, they are white trash red necks, but I was able keep a calm face through out this, even to the surprise of them, I also found out that they are major homophobes, even worse than I used to be, later on there was a trip for Walmart, however, through some bad info I arrived late to the meet up place for the bus to pick us up, this irritated the instructor, I then saw him yell at a group of friends for staying together, saying "you need to get rid of this glue and start acting like individuals" I get the feeling that this guy has a very short temper, and seems to think miscommunication and misinformation don't exist, and according to some of the girls from my school(whom I hang out with during meals) inform me that the instructor hates me for whatever reason, so anyway back to the trip to Walmart, I bought a few snacks and just as we are about to leave, it turns out a few kids from the last group were left behind (the bus took us in 2 groups) this made the instructor even more angry, by the time we got back to camp, there was a beutifull sunset along with a real double rainbow! It was awesome, but my love and tolerance levels are low, when I get home I'm having an MLP marithon

 

Day 5:

Possibly the best and worst day, every thing went great, it was bright and sunny, sailing was fun, we even went to get ice cream, but the real events started about an hour ago, some of the assistant instructors (around 19-22 years old) busted the door down and started yelling orders and the such, it was hilarious, this went on for a while, but then soon after the main instructor busts in, mad as hell, this naturally scares the piss out of us and we all do push ups as he he yells at us blaming us for all the yelling and door slamming, we told him that it was the instructors then he ordered us to bed, so here I am, in bed, scared as F***, hoping I don't die tommarrow, we do leave some time tommarrow
