animation Anime shows like MLP?

Does anypony know any anime that is similar to MLP? I want to assume that there are plenty, but I don't know where to start!

I'm sorry to disappoint but from all animes Ive seen in my life none of them was anything close to mlp. So some have been really wonderful and positive/adorable but close to mlpf ? No, sry.

Now, I assume @Gaines means FIM. Also, it has to be a show and not a movie like My Neighbor Totoro?
I don't watch much Anime except for Dragonball and Bleach, and those are Battle shounen, which are quite opposite from FIM.

I definitely recommend Azumanga Daioh. It has a cast of six cute, wacky characters that totally remind me of the Mane Six.
