"Off we go then!" said Clock with a smile as he hurried with Dissonance to class.

Splinter put his head on his desk waiting for class to begin. ''This is very irritating.'' Said Splinter as rolling his eyes.

Dissonance glanced back at High Roller. "C'mon!" she called brightly as she ran after Clock.

Dr. Firenze then saw students running down the hallway to his class, which made him smile. He called out to them,

"It's alright children. It's your first day here. There are no tardies.

Lockhart heard them coming. "Hey! Over here!"

Dissonance screeched to a halt and beamed up at him. "Hi! You're Dr. Firenze, right? I'm Dissonance! Nice to meet you!"

She saw Lockhart and then, with another smile and the teacher, she ducked inside and headed for the desk, sitting down and waiting for Clock.

Firenze smiled back at her and said,

"Yes, yes I am. Now will you please come and take your seat?"

They made it to the classroom where Clock smiled at Dissonance and said "Mares first" as he swept a hoof into the classroom.

High Roller rushed down the hall, hoping she had taken the path the ponies from earlier had taken.

 

She saw a teacher at a doorway and hesitantly asked,

"Dr. Firenze?"

Dissonance patted the seat next to her so she would be between Lockhart and Clock.

"You any good at Geography? I'm useless," she whispered to Lockhart.

Clock sat next to Dissonance and whispered "Thus we begin to hurt our brains with geo"

Firenze nodded his head.

"That I am. Now please, come inside and take your seat."

"The test begins" Alexandrite mumbled to himself, with a confident grin on his face.

"I'm awesome at geography!" Lockhart said with a grin. "How about you Clocks?"

High Roller exhaled, she had guessed correctly. She was jittery now, the idea of even such a small gamble was enough to get her excited. She giggled furiously as she walked into the room and looked for a place to sit.

Dr. Firenze closed the door behind him and went to the front of the class.

"Hello class, I am your new Geography teacher, Dr. Firenze. But you can all call me just Firenze, please. Dr. Makes me feel old."

Cosmos sat straight up in his desk, ready to learn about things unknown.

Clock shrugged, "Eh, I haven't had any geo classes really. I've had more magic studies, science, things like that" he replied.

Dissonance sighed in relief. "Oh, good. I can memorize music stuff no problem, but I've never been able to wrap my head around this."

She then looked at Clock and smiled. "Let's just hope he doesn't hurt our heads too much on our first day...hey, are there Music classes here?"

Sparks quickly scrawled a note, crumpled it into a ball and threw it at Cosmos.

Clock smiled and felt another blush coming on, she had a very nice smile. He looked away, vainly trying to hide it as he looked at the teacher. "I-I'm sure they would have music classes"
