Alright, we got the return of our favorite snow leopard! Not as good as the return of our favorite Auroricorn, but this is great too!  ...Why is this comment giving me deja vu? 

The timing's interesting too. First Comet comes back, then Allura, and now we have ourselves a cliffhanger ending. I feel like plot-heavy stuff is going to happen soon.

It probably won't be out any time soon thanks to the biweekly schedule shift, but we'll see.

On one hoof, Allura just wanted to be left alone and on the other she brought this all on herself.

This was a great episode, Izzy at her finest. The little fruit basket montage was funny, with Sunny talking about her new bendy straws, classic stuff. I do feel like Allura is going to end up being redeemed in some way, she’s doesn’t seem irredeemably evil like Opaline. Sure, enslaving the auroricorns was pretty bad, but Starlight did something similar, maybe even worse with the whole changing the past thing, and she still was redeemed and basically became part of the main cast. And right now Allura mostly just wants to stay cool and be left alone. I could see it happening.

The cliffhanger at the end also makes me think that maybe the special will come next and focus on Allura? I’m not sure when we’re expecting the specials to come out at this point. At the very least it seems the next episode will pick up where this one left off, hopefully.

This was a very positive surprise for me – TYT has been hit and miss for me, but this might be my second favorite episode to date after "As the Misty Clears". With Allura's appearance, it had higher stakes, and even the gags were better than usual – Izzy repeatedly taking the fruit baskets to the cave was a simple idea but worked well. I hope to see more episodes of this quality! Some of the audio mixing could have been better (a couple of lines were drowned out by the music), but no other significant flaws here.

Not surprised to see the writing credit for Tom Gidman – his episodes and those written by Jessica Silcock and Naomi Smith have almost always stood out.

Maybe Allura will turn herself around, I mean, since we don't know her backstory yet, maybe there's good in her. And Sunny, Comet and their friends can help
