Foreign relations of the Overland

Ever since the Overland gained independence over 80 years ago, Overlander relations with other countries were necessary for help in cases of conflict. When the Overland became independent country, it was only recognized by one country, Abyssinia. Because Abyssinia was the first country to recognize the Overland as its own country, the two countries became allies. The Overland didn’t only want 1 ally, so they decided to try and form alliances with nearby countries. The nearby countries of the Overland include, Seaquestria, Hippogriffia, Dragon Lands, Kirinlandia (Kirin grove), Shire Lanka and Abyssinia. The Overland has closest alliances with those countries since they’re nearby. As for Equestria, though they aren’t that close to the Overland, they have alright relations, though they don’t have close alliances with the Overland.

 

Note: I know Kirin Grove is the actual country of the Kirins, but I call it Kirinlandia because it sounds prettier :3

The Capital of the Overland is Kebebasan. It means freedom in Indonesian. Although Kebebasan is the capital of the Overland, the most populated city in the country is Tahun City.
