Overhated Shows and Movies

Are there any TV shows or movies that you think get too much hate? Even if you think they’re bad?

Overhated Show: Barney and Friends- It’s so hated that they made a documentary series about how much people hate it.

Overhated Movie: Frozen- That movie gets more hate than love nowadays I think. I’m not saying it’s a masterpiece, I’m just saying there are far worse movies out there. It’s been over 10 years, give it a rest.

The MLP G5 shows are by far the most overhated shows of all time, it's not even close.

Indeed. Ludicrous how the internet is still whining incessantly over this show. 

Anyway, for an overhated movie, I'm going with Year One. I honestly got some decent guilty pleasure enjoyment out of it, bite me.

The same could be said for Equestria Girls as far as Gen 4 is concerned. 

Movies: Is disliking Toy Story 4 still a thing? I'm not a fan of the story or new characters but it looks really good.

The Star Wars prequel trilogy. Everyone was told up front that these movies were not going to be clones of the original classic Star Wars trilogy, but everyone complained anyway because they were something new and different. Then came the ‘let’s all hate Jar Jar Binks’ bandwagon, and everyone mindlessly jumped on without an iota of original thinking in the crowd. The same prejudice remains today, and pointlessly so.

I love the movie. But I liked the earlier drafts of the script better than the final version that went before the cameras. Indy was originally going to have a spitfire daughter, which I think would have been fun, but Spielberg couldn't seem to get past his father/son obsession (despite having addressed it in Last Crusade) so we ended up with something that didn't really work. Even Shia LaBeouf said his character was the reason the movie didn't do as well as hoped, and despite his honest (and accurate) statement, he got blasted for heroically taking the blame.
