Who is this pony?

Hello mlp forum! I recently was gifted these slippers, I am mostly a gen4 fan, but because these are officially mlp branded I was wondering if this is a pony from earlier generations that I don’t recognize? It looks like a gen 1 pony to me but I’m not an expert… I’ve tried looking around on the identification sites a bit but I’m a bit lost, to be honest. Are they named or is this just a random pony made for these slippers? Thank you in advance for your help with my curiosity! 

They seem to be a Pegasus with a white coat, a purple/blue sparkly mane, blue eyes, and a yellow star/sun as a cutie mark.

Wow I’m stumped, I found slippers that look similar but no dice on these or that character so far

Looks like Starshine, although the mane and tail colors are not quite right...

The mane, tail, eye, and body colors really look like Glory, but the cutie mark is different, although it's still some sort of star shape? Both are Pegasus as well. My best guess is that it's Glory with a mis-printed (or mis-sewn?) cutie mark, but I'm not sure.

Edit: after seeing others post about Starshine's cutie mark, maybe it's possible whoever designed them was given 2 ponies as reference, meaning they combined traits from both?

Huh.

That's a stumper, that is. I agree with the others who have posted already, it doesn't quite match any known characters. 

The white pegasus + yellow star cutie-mark makes me think of the European-issue Starshine:  but Starshine is very definately supposed to be one of the Rainbow ponies, so doesn't have a solid blue mane.

There was a limited Dutch-release Star Pony for a white body with a blue mane and a slightly different star-based cutie mark:  but that's not a pegasus.

 

Of course, there's also the problem that it might even be an early G3 art style, rather than G1, but I still couldn't find anything in that set. The Starshine there is still a Rainbow pony.

I can't even find the slippers themselves on any merch site for a clue. Was there any packaging that came with them? Anything written on it might be a clue to narrow it down.
