Hmm, volunteering in a charity organisation is not bad, but my worries are that I have to pay then everything what could be tough with the time. But I would give it a try.

There is a difference between being a construction worker and working on a construction area. 
Until I get more specifics, I can't say for sure. But I might be open to the idea at least.
