Basically, if I were able to afford to hire someone to come in and help tidy up now and then, I'd do so because it's getting tougher for me to do it all on my own. First, I know what goes in the trash and what doesn't, and what needs to be washed. Explaining to a maid what can go in the trash and what can't and what needs to be washed would take time. There are plenty of times I’d love to have someone take up the slack and tend to the many tasks that I don’t have time for, so I guess I’d be okay with it. But if I had a maid I wouldn’t want her to be around all the time because I like my privacy and wouldn’t enjoy having a stranger in my home on a full-time basis, so a part-timer would be the way to go. If I lived in a vast estate where I didn’t have to interact with the help too much and felt there was a degree of separation, I’d be more comfortable having regular staff. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
