I am not a lier so I'll tell my honest opinions, please don't get sad

The first two songs was more like a bunch of random sounds to me. The second one sounded like one of those things I make in FL Studio to test new sounds. The third one was more song like though, and it wasn't that bad actually The only thing I disliked about it was that I expected atleast a little change in the melody somewhere in the middle. But still, the third was good

I did have something nice to say:

You won't notice those things yourself if you only get positive feedback. And I guess this thread was made for us to tell you what we think about your music.

I'm mostly going with Jokuc, the first one has no structure, was repetitive, and lacked bass, among other things

Second one was repetitive and lacked variety still, better than the first though

The third one would make for a decent intro/buildup with some editing, but as a full song there needs to be a few peaks and valleys

But I agree with the above. I mean, the first one, I could tolerate. The second one...wtf were you smoking. The third one, I really liked, but that's probably cause that's all I ever listen to besides select rock groups. I would like the 3rd to be expanded upon, and have a change in rythm. To me, it felt like it didn't know where it was going, or that it was just a demo.

 

@Whiteshade. I thought the first was better than the second.

Not saying it to be mean, just saying it to be honest and help you realize that it may not be what you think it is.

The same as everyone else has said. First two are a mess of randomness and the third one sounded like you had something going, but then it died. In a horrible car wreck.

 

Game Over: Repetitive, confusing, nothing to it at all (simplicity isnt bad, but in this case it is), could use some more change within it, and it just sounds like you slapped your hand across your keyboard (or whatever you use) for it.

 

Universe: Still repetitive, nothing to it again, but not as confusing as Game Over. You could fix it up I believe. IMO, should be longer to really be considered a song, again imo. Needs variety and other sounds.

 

Extra Life: As I said above, it sounded like you had something going, but you couldnt exactly bring it out. Its bland and could do with variety of synths used. Better than the others, but could still use some work.

 

also, dont feel bad at getting bad replies on your music. It helps just as much as getting good ones, if not more. Without the bad ones, you would keep going with what you think is good and never grow as a musician.

I actually quite liked them :3

As a budding musician, I must say that they were quite repeditive, but I still liked them. Extra Life was definitely my favourite and closely followed by Game Over. Universe wasnt quite in my tastes but it was still very good :3
