Colt got a hotel room, he used the key to open his room and walked inside, then promptly collapsed

Vortex Wing noticed his book still on the bench, he went to sit on the bench, and read the rest of it. "I can't believe it was here this whole time!"

2 hours later

 

Colt was situated in his room, he walked out side to get a snack when he saw vortex

 

"so how did it go?"

Vortex Wing showed the blue cast, and told Colt : "I dont know why he gave me this cast, he said I needed it even though he fixed the crack. Something about temporary "grounding" I have no idea what he ment by that."

"well, he put the bone back in place, it needs time to heal and reconnect, untill then no flying, dont worry, it should only be a few days" Colt said as he headed to the snack machine

"Darn..." He said sighing, Vortex continued to read his book, then headed up to his hotel room.

 

Vortex Wing quickly came back down to the lobby, noticing there is a buffet. He came out with 6 plates, and 8 bowls. "I am sure starving!"

Colt got a snack and went back to his room, he closed the door and opened his saddle bag, and got out a pair of hooks, he attached them to the ceiling, he took out a pair of boots and attached them to the hooks, he took off his jacket and hat, then his sunglasses, he flew up and placed his back legs in the boots and fastened them in, he was now upside down,he fell asleep

Clanking plates were heard on every floor Vortex was on because of his giant buffet of food. "Mmmm...I can't wait to eat all of this!"

"I don't know. I was going to head off to my hotel room to watch Canterlot's Finest." Vortex Said looking at his casted wing.

it was now early in the morning, around 4 or 5am

 

Colt woke up, and unfastend himself from the ceiling, he put on his jacket and hat, then his sunglasses, he took his bow and arrows out of his bag and an apple he had bought

 

then headed outside

Vortex walked to the fountain, reading the 3rd and final Edition of the Equestrian Empire. He noticed Colt "Hi! My wing feels alot better today."

"good to know!" Colt said, he put on the quiver and readied the bow, he tossed the apple in the air and immediatly flew after it

 

time seemed to slow down, he flew under the apple and shot an arrow through it, after doing a complete spin around the apple he put an arrow through the top of it, he then flew around it putting 3 arrows through it, the apple then hit the ground

"I need to go return 2 books to the library. I will be back later." Vortex said, walking away.

Krystal was laving on top of a bookshelf reading "ancient carriage designes" when she noticed Vortex enter the library

Colt took the arrows out of the apple, and started to eat it

"Well I've been here since late last night. I couldn't sleep so I came here."

''I must have fell asleep on the floor or something... '' Said Splinter as yawning.

Colt headed to a fruit stand to buy some more apples

"So Colt where did you learn how to shoot like that?" she said while flipping the page to her book, not looking away from it

Vortex Wing ran right out of the library, carrying the 3rd and final edition of the Equestrian Empire. He ran to the park, sat down and read. "I need to finish the series!" He said anxiously.

"so! some one recognizes me! i was afraid no one in this town didnt watch archery, my archery skills i learned though many different places, i read a few books on the subject, i had an archery teacher, he taught me a lot, and the rest is self taught" Colt explained

Vortex Wing went to a supplies store. He ordered: 20 tons of sheet metal, Control panels, Car doors, and 3 turbo engines.

"Thanks." He payed and started hammering together the metal outside of his hotel.
