So, I'm sure a ton of you are looking at this thinking 'Great, when is Tom gonna get out of this phase? Its not Pony Related so I hate it.' And so let me answer all of your questions/concerns/whatever here.

So Tom... Why?

Well you see, I've been wanting to improve my Digital Art Skills for a while. I've previously done a few tests in GIMP, including posting two of said tests here, and I believe that starting an Ask Tumblr with Artsy stuff in it is a great place to start. So if you do use GIMP, please consider dropping advice and techniques here, like I said, I am trying to improve and practice!

And another reason is because I have always wanted to start an Ask Tumblr.

Well why the Kirby series, and why not ponies?

There are already thousands of things on ponies on tumblr, and I like having a bit of originality. Plus, I'm not confident in my ability o draw ponies, they'd look ugly.

Also, several reasons for doing Kirby stuff. The first is that Kirby Characters consist mainly of circles and such, making them easy to draw. No real complicated designs or anything. Also because I think the Kirby series as a whole is a bit underrated compared to the other Nintendo Series, and the Kirby Universe has a ton of interesting lore, places, and characters to work with.

Well, why this Gooey... Thing? Why not Kirby, King Dedede, or Meta-Knight?

Well, one reason is that there are already a few Kirby Tumblrs out there featuring Major Characters from the series, but none for Gooey. Also, Gooey is an interesting character that, aside from cameos, isn't seen much in the games now a days, which is a shame. So this gives the Character Gooey a bit of new life breathed into him.

Also, the Meta-Knights is the group of knights that loyally follow Meta Knight. Meta Knight is the Swordsman who resembles Kirby. Remember that -, and use it wisely!

Will this cut into your posting time here?

I plan to do this when I see nothing in need of Moderation or a topic in need of posting, so this shouldn't cut into my time here!

So will this Tumblr be NSFW or what?

Absolutely not, this will be a clean tumblr that you wouldn't mind showing your Granny. I'm not into that porno stuff, so don't worry about accidently stumbling upon it here!

I don't know much about the Kirby Series, can I still ask Questions?

Sure! Heck, you'll have the most to gain from answers! Don't feel like you can't ask anything just because you're unfamiliar with the series.

So there we go! Now, if you have a question for Gooey, feel free to drop in the Tumblr and submit it there! Please put questions in the tumblr, as opposed to here, simply for the fact that organizing questions like that would make my life a breeze. And I love breezes, especially Spring Breezes. However, feel free to use this topic to comment, offer advice, toss out an idea, or say how the latest update answered your question!

I'll also post updates to the tumblr here as well as the Tumblr, so if you don't have nor want a Tumblr, you can still be notified when there's an update!

Also, this was awesome to draw right here.

 

 

The Dodge and Burn tool is amazing and I can't believe I never used it. Well, now I plan to use it more, like it deserves to be used.

 

Also made the Tumblr look much nicer, it now has a Background and Header! Golly!
