My review/critique for MLP Forums

This might be a long review about how I like the forums so far for the last three months:

At first, I didn't know where to begin my introduction after my first encounter with the forums. To be quite honest, I've been on three different forums, two which I have either left or became a lot less active and eventually losing interest, whereas I'm active on one forums (which is about PlayStation games, series, etc etc). So I decided to join in MLP Forums, considering as how I became a brony myself after watching the whole first Season of My Litle Pony: Friendship is Magic, and have continued to watch Season 2 until the two-part finale after joining the forums. Even though the Chat from the forums itself was gone, it was not forgotten, since I can still talk to people via Skype, whether it be text or voice chat. Since joining the forums, I decided to make up crossover vehicles from MLP (even though I wasn't able to surpass MLP liveries from Forza 4, but I'm not here to compete, I'm only here to prove what I can do), in which I made slow, but good progress as most users liked my MLP-based vehicles.

As I made progress by making decent posts on the threads I like (and create it sometimes), I then took an encounter with the Roleplay World sections. I had no interest of it, at first, but then I figured that I should make up my own RP... which never happened in the end, though I think its because I had a feeling that it lacked the original ideas I have made up, even the two pre-made fanmade MLP characters I made, which also never happened, most likely because either I had better ideas or the two characters I made didn't really surprised me after creating it. I then created my own RP (although a private RP, not open), with me and Aureity, and I eventually took interest in Roleplaying, as my Rolplaying skills did improved throughout my very first RP. I can't thank him enough for helping me learn the basic steps of Roleplaying (I guess even an older guy has to learn new things someday, hehe), because he's the reason I took interest in Roleplay, and I greatly thank him for it. I also thank Arylett for teaching me on how to make the RP with specific topic prefixes, and even though I cannot fix it myself, she did it for me, so basically, I consider her as a mentor when it comes to adding a Roleplay for users to RP with.

In the end, even though I make mistakes sometimes (I'm pretty sure most other people had the same thing), I think the forums are well-suited and pretty much perfect for me, out of all the previous forums I visited and later left because of either lacking interest and eventually losing interest or that I am not fit for it in any way. If I were to leave the forums, that doesn't mean I would permanently leave, considering as how I can tell you on when I have to leave for the trip, like in Europe, or the US, or on a cruise trip, like from two months ago, but overall, I'll never leave, no matter what (unless I get in trouble, in which I do NOT have any intention of doing so, believe me). Although I can't make any donations for the forums because I have to save much needed money for the next trip next year, I still have a lot of support for the forums, no matter what, deep within my heart. Plus, the users, the mods, and Feld0 himself, are really cool and nice, which is much like the show itself. All in all, the forums is, siimply put, awesome, just like the show itself, no matter what. :)

I thrive on activity and amount to talk about. This place has more activity, and more threads of things to talk about than any forum I've ever been on. And I joined at the perfect time, because personally, I don't care for chat, and love the fact that this is a simple, thriving forum community with no add-ons like chat. The staff are both helpful and mature, and do a far more thorough and worthwhile job then most other places I've been. There's also a severe lack of drama, which is wonderful. As stress-free an environment can get, the better it is for everypony.

A nice take on your thoughts, overall, and as you can see, I agree with them ^^

Yeah. I sort of forgot about you. Sorry. ^^'

I hadn't talked to you for some time, mainly because I was talking to other MLP users on Skype, so... yeah. My sincerest apologies. :P

This is so much better than Facebook. Go on Facebook and all you'll see are fights, "like" statuses, and girls complaining about relationships. Here, we all promote love and tolerence. Everypony/body is friendly and welcomes every new member with a warm welcome and a glass of cider. ;)

The forums are exciting and it's always fun to talk to new people and explore the forums. Not to mention how you can openly talk about anything. Here you can express your love for the show without getting ridiculed. Most forum admins are rude and abuse admin rights. Feld0 and the other admins are kind and helpful and gladly help you out with any sort of problem. Never in one social site have I EVER experienced such a friendly and kind community. I'm VERY glad I found out about MLPForums and joined. The site is snazzy and looks great, and the community is amazing. :D

Indeed it is. Even though I used to have Facebook, I found out that its not pretty useful (I even had over 50 friends, though I was unable to meet up in-person, because most of my friends are at work and have NO time to hang out with me at all http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png). And yes, you're right. MLP Forums really does top Facebook any day. ;)

Of course they do :). I still have facebook too, but my only reason is all my classmates have it and arrange things via facebook. Though I have never found FB to be even half as amazing and addictive as MLPforums :D (That reminds me, a bit of off topic, that now when I read MLPforums, I read it like : My little Phorums :D)

jeez.

Ezy is a really cool guy. Eh doesn't know memes and doesn't afraid of anything.

I like how the thread says critique but it's all positive ^_^ Usually critique means flaws are pointed out.

Aww, I try to keep up to date with my memes. It really pains me how that has 300k views and I've never heard of it.

Anyways, nice review :)

Arghghgh! Wow, this thread is getting really off topic (and I'm definitely not helping right now) so if we could all go back to the discussion at hand, it would be really nice.
