My first derpy sketch

so im in bed and cant sleep i decide to draw derpy derpin in a cloud, i like it, do you? tomorrow i will make her coloured i like her that much, sorry about the picture seeping through from the other side... thats what i get for using cheap paper haha and not being stuffed to edit it :S

Opinions for a effort done while half asleep?

Looks pretty good!

Her legs feel kinda small for her body. Her right leg looks smaller than her left, I know its further back, but it just seems a tad too small. And something about her head keeps attracting my attention as odd. Im no artist, but thats just what caught my attention.

Perhaps you should exaggerate the derp-eyes a bit more. They seem too close to normal to truly distinguish from our favorite background pony's quirky gaze. And her pose looks more goofy than ditsy. In future sketches, maybe put Derpy in situations where something went terribly wrong and she can't seem to figure out what or how.
