it had been 4 days now since Swift and Sapphire left Canterlot to head to ponyville and Dusk began to worry "when are they coming back" she said as she stood at the canterlot wall and looked on.

"don't worry dear you farther will return soon" said Fancy Pants as he placed his hoof on Dusks mane "but he promised he'd be back soon" replyed Dusk with a tear flowing down her cheek. Fancy Pant brushed his hoof to wipe Dusk tear "dont worry he'll be back soon he is not one to be defeated, now lets return home", "*sniffle* OK " said dusk as they turned around to head back to the estate while Fancy Pant looked back and saw the solar forces returning.

Fire, while it does kill off what's already there, also makes fertil soil for the next generation. So I guess I shouldn't moan, it's just... what I knew of my home was lost, is all," he turned away, "I apologize, Starbolt, but I need some alone time," he says, taking off. He landed inside the Castle, in the military wing. He was caught in a mixture of sadness, anger, and extreme happiness. He entered his barracks, which was surprisingly empty. He sighed, That's fine. I really do need alone time... He jumped into his bunk and looked at the one picture he had.That was Starbolt and me, right after we came out of foalschool. I never did go to flight school; the birds in the forest were more than happy to teach me, he thought, smiling.

"well there prisons arn't as good as the ones in canterlot i must say" joked Swift as has chained in side of a cage, swift turned to servery the area ' this looks like the refugee camp were he escorted the refugees a few days ago, hhmm the must have turned it into a barracks and moved the refugee's to Appalosa' he though to himself as he began to check his injuryes ' well nothing to serious just some deep cuts nut they'll heal in time, my eye however... at least they bandaged it' he though as he felt the fabric around his eye

Swifts mouth began to fill with the tasted of glass and his own blood, i spat out the remaining bits at the Luna republic pony"sorry i'm not that hungry," "you know you shouldn't be this close to a enemy unicorn, didn't they train you better", Swift grabbed the ponies Armour and yanked at his collar causing them to be electrocuted shooting Swift at the the cage wall and the luna solider out of the cage.

 

Swift re postured himself and sat down, "now come back once you learn respect Dog", Swift said as he began to recite words from the knights code.

"More than half of the pony population is starting to revolt against the Solar government. There will patriots and there will be loyalists, but enough of that. If we march to Canterlot many of the ponies will cheer for us liberating Equestria. Do you really believe that peace will be gained by government oppression? That is not what the ponies of Equestria want. If you you tell us what we need to know then we will let these soldiers go home." Daybreak Belle added.

 

"You can't be serious! You're just going to recklessly let all those soldiers leave?!" Lockon said to her as she gave her a serious look. "Listen, most of the Solarian army is made up of drafted ponies who were forced to join the Solarian army." Daybreak Belle replied.

Lockon replied as he walked out of the room. Daybreak Belle just sat on a chair and just sighed, "There is no such thing as a hero in a war. We all fight for something, whether it is freedom or just power all of us will still end up guilty for our actions. Do you think I joined to serve Luna? I didn't, I joined because all of our loved ones were killed! Like a lot of ponies their friends and family was wrongfully executed! We fight so that wouldn't happen anymore. Truly do you wish to see a loved one executed for no reason?"

Swift lowered his head "yes i know of the executions very well" Swift said as he reflected at the start of the war when he was nothing but a glorified bodyguard.. , executioner and other things while Celestia was paranoid that Luna would have more of her subject s try to kill her. " but such tragedy is rarely one sided because if it was not for luna's rebellion such horrors would never have happened ponies would have die for just showing there opinion, and such horrors are still here by the monsters who take advantage of the war to satisfy there needs, which is why i stand by my code and nothing else." Swift said as he continued to spit out bits of glass "now i thinks were done here.. if you don't mind i have nits of glass to pull out of my gums, i recommend you brother use gems in future, they cause more pain with less draw backs"

Yes it is true, your superiors have lied to you. I'm sure you've seen some ponies around you infected with this virus, though it is no ordinary virus, it is more like a symptom. She added as she threw a file infront of Swift.

 

"Two months ago this soldier vanished so he was considered to be either MIA or KIA. I'm sure you know something about him." She continued as she turned around for Swift to check the file of the soldier, Snow Flake.
