Hi and i would like to join the Rp thread

Mythos is a purist though, so while he would find the United Equestria intriguing he would push them aside if they show they are not willing to have the princesses rule as they have.

Stardream, well she will know it will not turn out well if the sisters fall and ponies turn away from them.

 

The big thing about the Front for a United Equestria is that they believe that Alicorn's ability to control other ponies is far too dangerous, and they should be removed of it, using the Elements of Harmony. So, that's actually what they're trying to do right now.

Don't tell that to Nightfall... he'd most likely object, saying the princess need to keep some of their ruling powers, and if he is shut down yet again, he'd probably leave and create another army (uprising) under his command.

Again, the godesses' control over their respective demesnes will remain untouched. He's only taking away their capability to exert their influence on other ponies.

What ability to control ponies? Celestia has never shown such powers at all in the show, and ponies follow her because they want too. She is a ruler with 100% Approval Rating because she is that great of a ruler, that is why I find it a bit difficult to accept such plotlines as this because why would ponies what to remove Celestia from power?

If Mythos and Stardream had the choice and the means they would both fight for the sisters to rule together equally as they are supposed to, Mythos believing that no other ponies could rule better (more so Celestia) and Stardream knowing there would be great danger in the balance being lost as the stars have told her that without the Sun and the Moon Equestria would fall to darkness and confusion

Question, as I forgot and can't remember, which sides are which of the six on? I would like to know so I know which of my character Mythis' aliases to use. I will probably come up with others but from another roleplay I have six aliases for each of the six for when (and if) Mythso interacts with them. Some I will be getting rid of but maybe I can still use a few, as I purposefully had them built so each would interact with the six well.

 

For example Mythos would, once he knows something about her, take on the persona of one that likes to have fun (such as parties) and perhaps is even just a little bit crazy (like Pinkie Pie). This alias is Glittermane, a stallion whose talent is puzzlemaking and is a bit 'odd' by the standards of many ponies. His name comes from the fact his mane shines as though it had glitter and is a mix of red and blue.

How has it gotten silly? Just curious is all as I am just starting. Your now leaving and I find it suprising you would call it silly... though I admiy I do not know much of the storyline up to this point.

Yes it is a diversion from canon, which is why I am not pushing against it really and willing to try the setting.

There is actually more pointing to Celestia and Luna not truely being goddesses, that and to be a god or goddess means others would need to worship them. The most that the sisters' subject greatly respect and honor the six, that the only thing that could connect them to deitihood is them controling the movements of the sun and moon... which it would seem beforethe sisters were around unicorns were able to do working together as one.

She did? Please comfirm by link as this is the first I have heard this and the closest thing to such is when she says that Celestia and Luna represent all three of the pony races.

 

If by extrapolation you mean 'An inference about some hypothetical situation based on known facts." it could be debated that is what the facts infer.

Its... god-modding? Uhm. Not as far as I know. Because personally I would hate it if it was.

 

When boiled down to its base attributes, my character entered the reality bubble where I am pretty sure the majority of active characters are, had some interactions with my own creations not really affecting anyone else, and proceeded to attack present commpany in a manner in which other players can react. In a manner of speaking, it was only a different way of achieving the same thing done a few pages ago when Rarity entered the area. The only difference being the intent behind the attack, where everything is intended to be burned down. As of yet no other characters have reacted.

 

Another point entirely is how exactly Steeleye identified that there was a seperate base at all. I can easily add this in if you want. Otherwise I don't see any way in which my actions force another character to do anything.

 

(On a more personal note, I am not saying that Celestia herself demanded this course of action, which would be god-modding. Steeleye is authorizing it, but he is doing it as a Solar Empire official.)

If you read a while back, we said that it's an interdimensional bubble that only certain ponies can gain access to. This bubble was created by Wits, so he kinda has control over who can get in (trust me, don't question his madness XD)

Well after reading the posts, (the second time I went through it before posting), I beg to disagree. Though it verges on debate, there is no absolutes in magic. Such a thing would need constant attentions to maintain, and a horde of ponies of even lesser magic ability would have the required strength to break one ponies unflinching grasp over magic. Further, not allowing ANYONE to ascess the main area of interaction is god-mod in of itself. I would recommend his post include an attempt to counter my attempts.

 

(While I do admit that ripping open a portal was god-mod, I put forward once again the debate of magic. A magical portal being a tunnel through the dimensions between two specific spots, it is entirely by-passing the magic maintaining the sheild. To summarize that, I am not performing the definition of God-Modding: Forcing someone's character which is not your own to do something.)
