planning Legend of korra/ Avatar the last airbender RP?

I need something to do, so any suggestions on an avatar role play? I have an idea, but I'd like to hear some others.

I too was think about how to do this. All I can say is that we should be our own characters rather then Aang, Kataria etc. Also you could make it a Avatar but with ponies or just normal.

I do not want any cannon characters and I kind of want it to be a hooman RP. My idea was an Alternate Universe RP, were the air benders of the air temples decide that they will not be obliterated again, so either the citizens form their own militia, or the air council decides to create an army for the air temples. Tensions raise between the other nations and the air nomads, because they believe that the air benders are prepared to attack one of the nations, but they have no idea which nation it is. Eventually one of the nations attack the air temple before they can attack them.
