This is  八 (ハチ), or Hachi. The Japanese kanji for 8! I think it works best because of its first kana, Ha(ハ), which expresses..

 

Ha, time to try again from 0 :P

Also, the Katakana for Ha(ハ) and Hachi(八) look almost the same. If you think that's confusing, welcome to Japanese, where rules stop making sense :eager:

To be absolutely fair, when I was writing that, I was still seeing an 8, and wanted to keep interrupting it as soon as it was about to hit 8 :P

Also, I should actually sleep. I am in that awkward point between not being sick, yet showing signs, but at the same time, resetting the streak gives me energy. Doubts of mankind, I guess.
