open Waking up in Ponyville

Discere trotted into the guest room where the strange light blue pony was staying. His progress being impeded by a constantly breaking ginger bread floor. "Hey!" he shouted "Are you all right?" he asked the mare.

Rainbow was bored, so she landed atop the train, made herself comfortable, and took a looonnnngggg nap. She needed her energy.

 

She was snoring extreamly loud, her snore echoed the entire train. This made all of the other ponies (Who recognized the snore) know she was atop the train.

Things were worsening. The train was turning to melted ice cream, the windows turned into sand, and the seats, well, turned into hermit crabs. "This is getting crazy," Byron says. Then, he sees Discord flying over Canterlot. He sees the train, then makes the rails disappear. "OH NO!!!!" Byron yells.

"I think so." Fauny replied to Discere. "Huh, I wonder why this bed didn't get turned into anything." She suddenly looked down at the bed. "Gumdrops." she whispered. "The bed was turned into gumdrops!"

 

Fluttershy covered her ears from the surprise of the loud 'oh no'.

 

Pinkie Pie looked around. When she saw her friends, she smiled.

[Shift 4,271]

"Huh?" Rainbow woke up to see the rails gone.

 

"OH NO!"

 

Rainbow wooshed inside the train. and met with twilight. Somehow, she saw her inside.

 

"Hey, Twi, Yo, can you teleport us to Canterlot, PRONTO! The rails are gone! Us pegasi can fly there, but the rest..." Rainbow trailed off.

Cerulean watched in horror as the train melted. Then she had an idea. "RAINBOW DASH! FLUTTERSHY! Do you think we could fly the others to Canterlot? After all, Dash, you carried four ponies when you did your second Sonic Rainboom!"

Discere walked over to the mare cautiously and began to escort her out. "You know, Since you stayed at my house I would think it only proper that I should know your name." He tried to make calm conversation in this chaotic situation and forced an awry chuckle.

(OOC: I noticed some people are not happy with the discord twist, so I apologize. Sorry...)

 

Byron wonders why he can't move. Then he looks around him, and sees a dark purple barrier. Nobody notices, because they are concerned about the missing rails. All of a sudden, he disappears, and is at Discord's throne. Uh-oh.

Starbolt put on a determined look.

"Okay I think I can teleport some ponies out. I'm not sure thought." She said as she recalled what she was doing earlier that day with the book she borrowed from Twilight, "Basic teleportation for fillies".

A deep blue flash and they were gone appearing next to the train tracks except for Starbolt and Byron.

Starbolt opened her eyes, to her horror she was still on the train only she was alone.

'Oh no.' She thought as the train fell of the tracks.

Cerulean was just about to freak out, when a blue flash teleported her in front of Canterlot castle. She looked around her and saw that the other ponies from the train were there too. But somepony was missing. "Where's Starbolt?" she asked the pony next to her. ((OOC: That can be anypony, I don't care))

"That." Fauny nodded to Discere. "My name is Fauny."

 

Pinkie Pie realized she was standing next to the train tracks. Then she saw the train falling! "THE TRAIN IS FALLING!!!" Pinkie screamed while she watched it fall off the tracks. "Nobody was left in there, right?"

 

Fluttershy looked around at the group. "Um... I think Starbolt was in there, the pony who hangs around town...." she said. "Wait... we have to save her! Somehow."

"Well Fauny, we are all in big trouble!" They walk out into the yard and observe the scene. "It seems Discord has returned, we should probably go see Twilight Sparkle... err, you are new to town right? So I don't suppose you know the lavender Unicorn who lives in the library do you?"

Cerulean was just about to freak out, when a blue flash teleported her in front of Canterlot castle.

 

(OOC: Actually you got teleported next to the train tracks.)

Starbolt felt the train begin to derail.

She forced herself to be calm and cast a bubble of magic around her as the train tumbled and broke apart.

The magic bubble lasted several hits, but unfortunately Starbolt wasn't able to maintain it through the entire crash. The bubble broke and Starbolt felt a sharp pain to her head. Next thing she knew she was under some a pile of metal.

'I'm alive!' She thought she tried to lift the metal with her magic but the teleportation and shield she used left her to exhausted to preform the levitation spell.

"Anypony out there?" She called out hoping somepony would hear her.

"Actually, although the unicorn doesn't know me, I know her. Her name is Twilight Sparkle, right? I, um... Well, you see, um... You're all in a show, and I used to be a human from a different universe who watched you." Fauny said to Discere. "I know the names of Twilight Sparkle and her five very best friends." She sighed, thinking he might not understand.

 

Pinkie Pie heard a faint voice coming from where the train fell. "I think Starbolt's down there!" she yelled, pointing.

 

"I wonder if she's alright..." Fluttershy's small voice was kind, but awfully worried.

((OOC: Okay, sorry!))

 

Cerulean watched as the pony tumbled out of the train, and gasped. Was she alright? She looked around her. Nopony would notice if she flew downwards to check. She slowly floated down below the tracks, but all she saw was a big pile of metal. She flew up again. "There's nothing but a big pile of some metal stuff down there," she said.

"Starbolt must be under there..." Fluttershy looked at the ground. "I hope she's okay..."

 

Pinkie Pie gasped. "WE HAVE TO SAVE STARBOLT!!!" she screamed. "WE HAVE TO!!!"

 

Fluttershy frowned, "That seems hard..." Then again, I'm not the strongest pony. she thought.

Discere stopped and stared at this... strange... mare. Wide eyed and very confused he decided to just go along with this possibly deranged pony untill he could figure out what was going on. "Umm... yeah" he said awkwardly. He started to think about Twilight and how she could help them... but then his thoughts drifted, they always drifted when he thought about HER. "Twilight is an outstanding pony... " he began. Discere wasnt sure if he was still talking to Fauny or to himself. "I mean, she has to be the most well read and smartest ponies I have ever seen, and she even lives in a library! She..." Discere stopped himself, his face turning bright red... any way lets get going.

Cerulean turned to the other ponies. "Okay, but how will he do it? We don't know how much that metal weighs, we might not be strong enough to lift it. Can one of you guys levitate it?" ((OOC: If you're a unicorn))

Maybe Twilight knows why I'm here.. Fauny thought for a second. I'm stupid. Pinkie Pie should know why I'm here, she can break the fourth wall after all! She smiled.

 

Fluttershy stood, looking at the ground. Starbolt could be hurt....

After a long awkward walk, thanks to discere's stupid mouth, Discere and Fauna arrived at Twilight's Library, ecept it didn't really look like a library anymore. It looked more like a pile of molten cheese fondu and bubble soap.

"I wonder what happened here." Fauny said, looking around at the library. "Twilight isn't here, she must be somewhere else."

 

Pinkie Pie peeked over into the place where the train fell. "STARBOLT, IF YOU'RE IN THERE, SAY BALLOON!" she said.

Byron is under a pile of rubble. To his right, he hears Starbolt moan. He uses his magic to lift the rubble. He stumbles out with Starbolt.

"They must have gone to Canterlot to fight Discord" Discere Exclaimed. Then he thought for a moment. "Hey Fauna," "Do you know anything about Discord, or the elements of Harmony?" He asked. He wanted to make sure she was on the same page.

"Yes." Fauny answered. I wish I knew why I'm here.. All of a sudden, she felt another strange magic surge. "Whaa?" She blacked out, and had a vision of her human body... Discord seemed to appear in the vision. In her vision, her human body floated into the air and turned into a pony. She quickly appeared in Equestria. The vision ended then, but Fauny was still blacked out.

Byron is under a pile of rubble. To his right, he hears Starbolt moan. He uses his magic to lift the rubble. He stumbles out with Starbolt.

 

(OOC I thought you got taken by Discord that's why you weren't in the teleport.)

Starbolt stumbled out of the rubble lifted by Byron.

She limped towards the group of ponies looking for them.

Starbolt noticed she was bleeding badly where she was hit in the head.

"Ballon." She said before falling on the floor.
