Hi there! This is just a super quick doodle. I know there are a lot of problems with it, and it's not very detailed, but again, doodle. Regardless, tell me what you think, and feel free to crit, I'd be interested in hearing.

In the white of the eye, try to make it a bit sharper from the iris since it looks very fuzzy around that area.

 

You have very good textures around the eye, but on the top it appears to be jutting out. Not sure if intentional like a horn would go there or not but it looks awkward as is without more visuals there.

 

All together, this is pretty nice. What'd you use? Charcoal? China Marker? Maybe a digital program?

Thanks It is digital. As for other pictures... Not really. Most of the time, I draw something and then immediately delete it, or I just haven't bothered to upload it. Lately, I've been trying to preserve my sketches though: http://randomsketchman.tumblr.com if you're interested. The idea for most of these was to spend less than 5 minutes on the drawings, and to capture the feel of the subjects rather than being technically accurate.

Hey, thanks for the crit! I agree, I definitely smudged it a little too much there. The lighting in the actual iris (and especially the pupil) is pretty off too. The overall composition of the picture is absolutely terrible, because the eye is offset in a really awkward way.

As for the horn comment, I'll admit, that was outside of my viewport, so I completely forgot to do something more with that part That's definitely a mistake. Or do you mean right above the eye? As that was intentional, but now that I look at it, I think I overdid it.
