Oh wow. Considering how Dragon Ball was one of the biggest inspirations for Naruto, it's funny to see a Naruto fan disrespecting it like that.

I'm not a fan of Rainbow Dash. The only episodes where I enjoyed her characterization as a leading role were Sonic Rainboom, Hurricane Fluttershy, Read It and Weep, and Wonderbolts Academy. I don't hate her, I think she has a lot of decent moments, but when her bad moments appear, they make her come off as one of the biggest assholes in the show. (Just watch Find a Pet if you don't believe me.) I can't say she's the worst, but I don't see why other fans of MLP will lose their cool every time she's on screen or why they'll throw all of their money at a piece of Rainbow Dash merchandise.

 

I'm starting to like the idea of Equestria Girls. I seriously think it might turn out to defy the typical High School Musical-esque tweeny high school drama by poking some fun at teen movie tropes without actually being a full-blown satire. The original show defied the stereotypes associated with its characters, the franchise they were a part of, and the quality of entertainment for young girls in general, so why can't EG be capable of the same?

Most books with love triangle have potential to be good.  It depends on what the author does with it.  A good example is the Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare.  A bad example is the Twilight Saga.

Nintendo is the only reason console gaming is worth caring about anymore.  They're the only one bothering to at least try to make console gaming actually mean something unique; even if they aren't doing the greatest job of it currently.  Everything else is just watered-down, less versatile versions of PC games that almost invariably run better, look better, and have better communities on PC.

I'm 14, but I sure as hell don't think I'm special because of the music I like.  I like Heavy Metal and Rock and Roll.  I just really really hate any other music.  Sure I'm big fans of Alice Cooper and Kiss, but I'm also into the newer stuff like Volbeat and Blood Ceremony. You really shouldn't be that quick to judge.

metal or rock and roll. Heavy metal would be Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Diamond Head, etc.

King Diamond is an underrated singer.

Trixie and Lightning Dust are both pretty cool.

I'm starting to like electronic music.

Classical music is nice to listen to every once in a while.

And those are all good too (though I haven't heart of Diamond Head).  I saw Iron Maiden last July with Alice Cooper as the opening act.  I saw Judas Priest in Detroit on their Epitaph tour.  Believe it or not, Alice Cooper is categorized as rock.  Obviously you've never seen Metal Evolution.  Kiss I can kind of agree on.  They get pretty bad on some of their albums.

 

King Diamond is really good.  I'm hoping he'll go on tour after he puts his new CD out.

My most unpopular opnion is that I think most strongly held opinions, including my own, are born out of ignorance, lack of empathy, arrogance and/or the misguided complex of superiority and "individuality" that today's society has instilled in us all. I think most people are inheriently good - but are misinformed or too ignorant to realize that they lack the experience to judge the majority of the world around them.

 

Even the word "opinion" makes me twitch. Food preferences and the like are one thing; but beyond that, there is more black and white in this world than people realize. If you are arguing about something and have to fall back on "well, that is just my opinion" - then it becomes clear that you lack the knowlage or experience to support your argument with fact.

 

Anyway, that's just my opinion on the matter.

 

One other quick thing: I don't take people seriously if they do not make an effort to format their posts properly, spell correctly, or use proper grammar. Everyone who has seen me on Skype knows how poorly I spell in an IM without spellcheck - so saying you're just bad at it is no excuse. Mistakes are fine of course - but it becomes very clear within the first few words if someone's even making an effort. Don't expect me to expend the energy of moving my eyes across your text if you can't even give potential readers an ounce of respect.
