Yavolin replied."I am going to Canterlot for a party of some sorts". Yavolin wanted to say something else but he just couldn't, this was the mare that helped him but he just couldn't say how he felt about her at less not yet.

"Oh, I... Um... I'm going too. This is... so... unexpected... What a nice surprise..." Esme said, but in her mind she thought "he's coming too? Oh my Celestia, this is amazing, I can't miss this chance." She nearly fainted. "Well, um..." The blue pegasus blushed. She never realized that she actually liked him this much. "Yavolin, I..."

Sky arrived at the front entrance to the party at Canterlot. There was a red carpet laid and as he was told, he was supposed to walk down it. He trotted casually down the 'fame isle' with a big smile as the cameras flashed all over and occasional screams of fans. Sky thought to himself, "I feel like a bucking showboat..." as he maintained his smile, kept waving, and continue to make his way down the isle...

Yavolin looked at Esme and said."What is it that you have to tell me? and what is it that brings you out here"? Yavolin notice the dress that she had on ,but he kept his focus on her. He didn't care if he was going to be late he was with some pony who he owed a great dept of gratitude.

"I- I- I kinda.... I kinda like you. Like, like like you." Esme shifted a little. "No going back now" she thought. "And, um, I'm heading to Canterlot for what might be the same party you're going to." Eldrich was shocked. "Uh, Esme?" The blue pegasus hung her head and blushed. "Uh, Yavolin, Maybe... Maybe I could give you a ride to the castle?" Esme was surprised at herself. "I asked him if he wanted to... get on my back? What were you thinking, Esme?"

Yavolin was shocked by what Esme told him, but he was happy by what she told him but getting ride was out of the question because he wasn't that type of guy. But first things first he had to tell her how he felt."Um, Esme,I like you to, but I must decline your offer of a ride but we could walk instead if you like to"?

"Oh, if you would like to walk, that's ok with me. I mean, you can do whatever you want with me. I'm game." Esme felt strange saying this, but yet she said it without blushing at all. This pony liked her too, and she didn't feel embarrassed anymore. "So, once we get to the party what do you want to do?"

Yavolin began to walk but he answered."I honestly don't know I never get invited to these sort of things". Yavolin had his mind off of her and on the party he didn't care if it even was a joke at less he had some pony who liked him.

"Oh, I was just thinking, maybe we could go somewhere quiet and get to know each other better, but whatever you want is ok." Esme said this timidly, even though she knew Yavolin liked her too.

Yavolin stopped and looked at Esme."Were would you like to go than? if you want to get to know me than by all means lets go somewhere else to get to know one another". Yavolin cared about Esme but he didn't want her to be nervous around him.

Quip frantically rushed around his hotel room and got ready, he opened the door and rushed out the building as fast as he could to get to the party, it was almost going to start and Quip didn't want to be late.

 

Quip skidded to a stop at the front door and showed his invitation, the guard raised his weapon to let him in, "Good thing i kept the invite in my pocket" he sat down on one of the benches to catch his breath, he took a quick look around at all the ponies filling in the main room, Quip did not see any of his 'aquatints' that he had met anytime in the past, of course he never really did meet many ponies, nobody was ever interested in what Quip did, all they liked were the colors, not the technology behind it. Now Quip had no idea why he was there, he had no friends there and nobody to be with, and its not like someone would just walk up and be his friend, but on the other hand, he could just walk up to them.

Bumble trotted off the train. She was still well before the actual beginning of the party, perhaps 10 minutes, and she could calmly go and arrive on time. She fumbled with her pouch to make sure the invite was there, then she picked up the pace as she tried to imagine the royal party, but failed to do so. She couldn't wait to see the grand things presented in the castle. She knew she wasn't the most fancy of most people, but the master design of the dress covered up that fact, and she would do her to at least be polite. She fumbled in her pouch again, this time taking out the invitation and showing it to the guard, who raised their weapons. Then she went inside.

Rosey got off the train and trotted over to the gates of Canterlot, everything looked amazing and it was nothing compared to Ponyville!

 

'I wonder if I could get a house in Canterlot, it would be awesome waking up to this everyday.' she thought..

They finally arrived at the castle, and Esme looked around in awe. "Wow, whoever thought two rough-and-tumble pegasi like us would ever get invited to a party in Canterlot?" She galloped inside and stared at her surroundings. "Isn't this perfect, Yavolin?"

Yavolin his nod at Esme. But not at she was looking at his mind was on Esme and how wonderful she looked but he didn't say anything. Yavolin went inside to join the party."Um,Esme would you like to dance with me"?

Esme was shocked. "Yes, of course, Yavolin." She came towards him, and they started dancing. "Wow, I'm dancing with a stallion who's not my dad. This is like a dream come true."

Yavolins heart started to beat very rapidly he never danced before and on top of that with a mare this made him extremely nervous he hoped that the mare didn't notice he didn't want her to think that he didn't like her.

Sky was inside the party, it was like the 80's except there is a TON more drugs in here it was a formal party but there was a club room supposedly somewhere in the back but he was looking for that special pony he met...

Rosey stepped inside the party room and looked around, it was very classy and it could never be compared to Pinkie's parties. They were both different things.

 

She wondered in and saw that pony she met a while ago at the cafe, she looked at him but she was too shy to approach him..

The lobby was especially grand, the ceiling rising way above Bumble. She stared up, amazed at the difference between the distance between the floor and ceiling here and at home. She then looked forward, where a small line waited to greet Princess Celesia. Her mouth stayed agape as she stared, almost rudely, at the goddess pony. She regained her composure and stood in the line, waiting to greet the princess.

Quip noticed the rather long line for meeting Princess Celestia, to Quip meeting the princess wasn't his idea of having a party, but what would meeting royalty hurt? Quip got up and walked over to the back of the line, I wonder how long it took to make this many invitations for a party, while wasting his time thinking he accidentally bumped into a blue maned yellow pony also lined up, "Oops, sorry about that, wasn't paying much attention to where i was going".

Bumble looked back and saw another pony, a blue earth pony with a greenish and grayish mane. "Oh, it's okay," she replied. Looking back in front of her, she noticed how long the wait was going to take, so she might as well make conversation. Turning back, she continued, "My name is Bumble Berry, what's your name?"

Quip lightly brushed himself off and smiled, "Im Quip, im a explo- i mean uh... fireworks, expert" he rubbed a hoof to the side of his head and tried to get the gray explosion marks out of his hair, "My hair isn't actually gray, ive had a few accidental explosions and i never bothered to clean the stuff out of my hair, i don't usually go to public outings like this so it slipped my mind" he tried to be as casual as possible about it, it was actually probably boring her.

Bumble realized he had caught her looking at her hair, she looked away and asked, "You're working with fireworks? Is it a hard job?" She looked back to notice that a few ponies space had appeared in front of her in the line. She went forward a bit until she was near the pony in front of her. She then turned back to the pony.
