He then heard Viridian speak to him about the brochure and the camp's location.

Might read it later...you never know.

 

Looking out the window again, he made a mental note not to stare at people like he did to Lightning Flicker.

 

Best not do that again.. they must think I'm some kind of freak now.

Axe observes the inhabitants of the bus, most of which seeming to have a distinct trait or appearance to themselves. The one with the metallic wings gave him great interest as both being a former blacksmith and metal worker, and to the fact in which it would further his knowledge of his medical practices.

In blatant terms, he would like to talk to this Pegasus some time, but for now he waits near the back of the bus not noticing that most of the time his "observing" looks more like glaring to everypony else.

(Quick Note: I didnt notice till now that i called myself BlueBlaze in one of my posts instead of Blazeblue *facehoof* sorry about that but its officially Blazeblue but call me Blaze for short)

 

Blaze awoken from his slumber still holding onto the box he had before he went to sleep. he noticed there were more ponies on the bus now so he assumed the bus was almost to its destination. Blaze put his box back into his saddlebag and stared vacantly out the window off into space.

The bus stoped, and embers yelled into the air "WOO HOO! WE ARE HERE! LETS DO THIS!" Embers jumped out of the bus, he landed with his paper spilling every were "Ooopssss..." Embers then picked it up, he rased his head to the air,he felt all the warmness, he looked around him at the birds and all the green, he saw a few birds "This is gunna be so fun!" He smiled and looked around him. He picked up the last bit of paper, and looked at it "well, ill see you all at the tents!" He looked at the paper , and started runing "YESSSS! WE ARE FREE! LETS GOOOOO!" He spilled his paper

Blaze Snapped out of his little trance as he heard Embers Shout and run off. ''Wow hes pretty fast'' Blaze said impressed with the unicorns speed.Blaze then got off the bus and stretched his wings for a little bit. 'Aah it feels so much better to feel the fresh air'' Blaze then took off into the air to get a birds-eye view allowing his mane the flow in the wind. 'Wow this camp doesn't look half-bad!'' Blaze complemented before spotting the tent he'd be staying in with that bland and boring Earth Pony Viridian.

Blazeblue ran out of the bus, finally giving Viridian the chance to leave. Before he trotted off the bus, though, he tried to make a deal with White.

"Hey White," he said, "do you mind if we trade tents? As in, you stay with Blaze and I stay with Lightning, at least for one day?" He looked at him with the most pleading eyes he could muster.

Snapping out of his trance by Embers' rather enthusiastic outburst, White slowly got up and stretched his wings for a moment.

 

Grabbing his bag, he walked to the exit of the bus and looked at the camp. It looked pretty good, he thought.

 

"Well, let's see which of these cabins is mine and Lightning Flicker's!" he said, taking a deep breath of fresh air.

 

But before he could walk off, Viridian spoke to him and asked if they could switch tents.

 

"Sorry man, but it says right here that you aren't allowed to. Besides, give him a chance first. Everypony has bad and good traits..." he answered.

 

(OOC: So are there cabins or tents? It keeps changing xD)

Embers picked up his paper, and started walking "Whats all the fuss? its tents, it says at the bottom of the page, if only some of you would read..." Embers chuckeld, he reads ever thing and anything, so he read to hole paper "And it says to trading tents"

Viridian glanced at Embers. "I know that's what the paper says, but is there really any harm to just trading tents for one day? It's not going to hurt anypony."

 

He then turn his head to White. "So," he said, "can we please trade tents, at least for one day?" He continued his "puppy eyes" look.

Looking at Viridian's pleading eyes, he felt a bit embarrassed.

 

"Sigh.....alright then, how about this. You try to get to know him better first and if you still can't get along, we'll switch. Deal?" he asked him.

 

"I mean, you're going to have to get along anyway since you'll be here with him for the rest of the time here." he added, clearly wanting to help them get along before any incidents between the two happen.

 

I came here for a break from work and all.. I hope I don't get on the wrong side of either of them.

 

(OOC: Sorry if the dialogue and all is a bit crappy, I'm on my phone at the moment.)

Bumble strolled off the bus in the general direction of the tents. She hoped the tent would be big enough to house the two of them. Or her and some other pony. She didn't really mind who she was in the tent with, well, except those two ponies who hate each other.

Embers looked around at the tents, he saw bumble berry hop into one, he followed her and went into it to "wow, this is bigish" He chuckld "Well, make your self at home, were staying here for a while" He put down his stuff and started wrighting a poem (OOC: Gunna be gone for a little)

Bumble was satisfied that the space seemed decently large, and she set down her things, unrolling her sleeping back and making sure it stayed in place. She saw that Embers started writing again, and she thought it was a pretty good idea to pass time while she waited for something to happen. She opened her saddlebag and took out a crossword, continuing on crossword #5, which she had only begun just yesterday.

Though slightly disappointed by White's answer, Viridian realized it was probably for the best. For one, it was against the rules, as Embers had pointed out.

 

"And two," he thought to himself, "I shouldn't punish White like that. I'll let myself be the only one to suffer."

 

After he finished moping to himself, he trotted off to a tent near the front of the camp. He could see that Blaze was already inside. Putting the negative feelings he had for him out of his mind, he walked inside. Blaze watched him as he entered.

 

"So," Viridian said, "need some help unpacking?" He figured he might at least try to make friends with the blue pegasus.

Walking over to his tent, tent #4, he finally felt a bit at peace. The past few days were a bit... hectic to say the least and he REALLY needed a break. Once he arrived, he looked inside. It was pretty roomy inside, and it didn't seem to much of a pain to sleep in either.

 

This looks quite a damn lot better than the tents in the RGA...

 

He quickly refrained from remembering past experiences, no need to get in a bad mood again. He put down his bags, laid down on his bed, and decided to take a quick nap before doing anything else.

 

I wonder when Lightning Flicker wakes up. Hope she doesn't mind having to share a tent with the opposite sex...

 

(OOC: RGA = Royal Guard Army; and no, that last line is not some sexual innuendo, hold your hormones.)

[Lightning Flicker 101]

Lightning Flicker awoke to find the bus stopped and pretty much empty. She stepped off and stretched her legs a bit and then took off, flying as fast as she could to her tent. Tent #4. She landed outside of it and smiled. It felt good to fly. She walked in and noticed her tent mate. She hadn't expected to be in the same tent as a guy, but it didn't matter. She stretched for a moment. A quick flight around the camp couldn't hurt...... But she decided against it. She didn't want to seem like a show off. And besides. Her wings jammed sometimes and she didn't want to get hurt as soon as she got there.

Blaze was looking through his things when Viridian showed and asked him a question. ""Ummmm no thanks" Blaze said without looking at Viridian. "I dont know what this guy is up to but I dont like the looks of it" Blaze thought to himself. But thanks for the concern Blaze turned around and gave Viridian a fake smile. Blaze wanted to go out and practice flying around some more so he finished unpacking and headed out the tent giving an akward glare to Viridian one that he gave to people he didnt really like. "So im just goi.g to go fly around a bit so ill see ya later Viridian." Blaze said as he took off to the air forgetting that he was leaving his precious box inside the tent with his not so friendly roommate.

[Lightning Flicker 101]

Lightning Flicker noticed him flying. She stepped outside the tent. "Hey! Wanna race?" She always loved a good race. It was a chance for her to see just how fast she was and find ways to improve her speed.

Hearing something, White turned around on his bed and noticed Lightning Flicker standing outside the tent. But before he could speak to her, she trotted off again, seemingly more interested in the blue pegasus flying in the air above.

 

Well, she didn't even introduce herself. I hope the rest of the time here won't be as awkward, we share a tent after all.

 

Getting up, he decided to un-pack his bag. Opening one of them, he looked inside and grabbed a pair of RGA dog tags.

 

"Well, old buddy, still shining I see." he said jokingly upon seeing them reflect the sun. Hanging them around his neck, he took another glance at them, his smile dissappearing a tiny bit.

 

"May harmony shine upon you....." he muttered, once again not wanting to remember the story surrounding the tags.

 

Well, let's get un-packing my bags then.

As Blaze was just flying around another Pegasus came to him and asked him to race. Never the one to decline a challenge Blaze said with confidence "Sure thing kid!" It was nice to meet somepony who had some sense unlike someponyelse Blaze knew.

 

"Hmm dosent look like this one can go that fast" Blaze thought id better take it easy on her.

Ok you ready Lightning?" Blaze shouted!

Lightning Flicker grinned. "I'm ready to beat you!" She laughed. She always was a bit cocky when it came to flying. But other than fighting, it was the thing she was best at! She got the feeling he'd take it easy on her because of her wings. She'd show him!

Blaze couldnt help but smile at the other pegasus determination. "Heh heh how cute" Blaze thought. "Ok, lets race from here to thecamp entrance sign." Blaze pointed towards the enterance sign were the bus had dropped them off earlier, it was a good 90 yards from tbe tents to the entrance. All right now on your mark, get set, Go!!!!

As Viridian saw the pegasus fly off, he noticed a box that he had left out in the open. His curiosity asked him to open it, though the rest of his mind quickly dismissed that thought. Even if he was a jerk, he wasn't about to go snooping through his stuff. He put the box on Blaze's bed and started unpacking his own things. His sleeping bag, a couple of hats, a water bottle, and other similar stuff.

 

As he reached to the end of his bag, he saw his personal case. It was the only proof that he belonged to a rich family. Inside of it was a golden locket that held an image of him, his father, Verdigris Greenback, and his mother, Lily Greenback. Back in his home city of Manehatten, his father is a major stockbroker. Viridian only went by his first name because he didn't want anyone to be influenced by his last name.

 

He pulled out the locket from its case. "I wonder how you guys are doing..." After Viridian left for Ponyville, he hadn't kept in touch with his parents. He still thought of them almost every day, and still misses them.

 

When he was nearly done, he noticed that the two blue pegasi were in the middle of a race. He decided to step out and shout some words of encouragement.

 

"Come on, Lightning!" he shouted to the female pegasus. "You're faster than him! Keep it up!"

A few minutes later, White had finished unpacking his stuff. He looked around the camp again. Some were in their tents writing, others were casually sitting, and some other pegasi were racing.

 

Well, I could go for a flight too.

 

He unfurled his wings and took off, speeding up as he went higher. From the height he was now, he could easily see all of the camp and the surrounding area. To the back of the camp was a lake, with a small beach connected to the camp.

 

There's no end to this area's beauty, is there?

 

Having seen the surrounding area, he quickly zoomed off again, making twists and turns as he went.

 

''Nothing beats doing a bit of flying in such weather!" he exclaimed, a smile forming on his face.
