Trench stared at the great barrier. "I've got four of the best guards in Canterlot... Three of the best guards and one other, working to take it down from the inside," He said, "I won't let her do this, that is why I'm here."

Misty's questioning stare quickly turned to a blank one. "So, I'm guessing you're against Celestia?" she asked skeptically. "But, I'm not sure if I can trust you." She sighed inwardly. What were the chances of being able to go free so easily? Sure, she wanted to leave, but this seemed too good to be true. "How do you know you can trust these ponies on the outside, huh?" She looked towards Relámpago hoping he could better judge this pony.

It's been three days since the banishment had been put into effect, and Fire Opal wandered through the forest, feeding off simple berries and anything else edible he could find. His fire spells were weakened by the large shield spanning around the forest, preventing anypony to escape. He hadn't seen anypony since the first day of exile, but that was, unknown to Fire Opal, about to change. As he continued to aimlessly continue through the forest, he came upon a bush. It would be a good spot to spend the night when it came, so it would be best to stay in the area. But as he got closer to it, he heard voices slightly behind it. Not creepy, just normal, pony voices. There were at least three, he realized, though he wasn't completely sure. He crouched close to the bush and tried to catch a glimpse of the ponies.

"You're right!" Trench said sarcastically, "I was sent to the other side of the impenetrable barrier with no weapons or back up so that I could kill you all with my hoofs. Who better to send than a fifty four year old stallion?"

Relámpago blinked at him, though he said that he has four other guards to help him destroy the barrier. It seemed asinine to get inside the barrier for whatever reason. He stared into Trench's eyes. To see if he was sincere, an old trick that his father taught him. He nodded, "It makes sense, what he did was stupid just to get inside a barrier with no way of getting out."

As Fire Opal watched as they were testifying if one of the ponies was against or with Celestia, he noticed that if he didn't make himself known, he might be seen as an enemy if he was found later in time. But he couldn't do it immediately, he would have to wait until the three ponies were at peace. He slowly moved into a better position so he could smoothly appear from behind the bush when the time arrived, and he went back to watching them.

Misty just rolled her eyes. "Eh, fine, old guy, maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions." she responded deadpan. His sarcasm didn't phase her one bit. "If what you say is true, then we'll be able to go free, right? Well, then three days living off my skills wasn't so bad. Hey, maybe we can overthrow Celetia?" Of course, she was only half serious. Somewhere inside her, the feeling of skepticism continued to radiate outwards. She didn't like it though. She wanted to believe in something, but in the past 'really good' things always turned out bad.

Harold was the fourth member of Trench's squad. He sat in the corner of the barracks with his wings tucked behind his back. "Just like the old man," He said to the other three, "Tells us to do something and gives us no information on how to do it. Reminds me of Jade. 'Hey, I want you to take down the largest criminal boss in Canterlot without even knowing her name.'" he mimicked.

 

Jack thought deeply, "We'll need to gather information... And to do that, we'll need to find a pony who's stupid enough to help us by putting his life in danger when he doesn't have to..." He slowly panned toward Rocky.

 

Rocky smiled, "Hey! Everypony is looking at me! These are my friends. Hi friends!"

Now was the time to move, he thought. He stood up and made his way toward the ponies. He made sure he didn't come too close, he still wasn't sure if they were dangerous or not, so he was stuck on taking precautions.

Trench's eyes shifted Toward Fire Opal. "You sure do make an awful lot of noise for a pony who's been trying to spy on us for the last five minutes," He said, "Come out, I know you've heard us talking."

Fire Opal held out two of his hooves. "I'm already out, clear for you to see." Fire Opal was quite surprised at the comment that he had made a lot of sound. for his taste, he had been moving agonizingly slow.

Relámpago didn't know if they could overtake Celestia. "Well, who knows. If we team we might be able to defeat Celestia. Relámpago fears no pony. Not even Celestia herself." He said. He turned to see the other pony that had tried to be hidden. Trench seemed to already have found the pony after he heard the sounds of the bush. "Why were you trying to spy on us?" Relámpago asked the random pony.

"You aren't taking on Celestia! If we can start a revolt amongst the NEA, we won't have to fight her. That's what this is about, the NEA aren't monsters, they have family's that are suffering and they just need to be reminded of it."

Misty turned abruptly towards the unicorn coming out of the bushes. It seemed like a lot more ponies were spying on them than Misty would have suspected. "Hey there, what are you doing exactly?" she asked, feeling like her patience was wearing thin. But, it wasn't all bad. More ponies meant the possibility of more allies. And, she could always use more allies.

"Don't worry guys," Rocky said, "I am a great secret agent, because I am very shy!" He placed a fake mustache on his nose and ran out the door.

 

"Well," Said Jack, "now that he's going to kill himself we can come up with a real plan."

 

"Why did he put on a fake mustache?" Harold asked confused.

"To tried to start a revolution inside the army would take a decent amount of persuading. They seem to be fully loyal to whatever Princess Celestia says." Relámpago remembered he had talk to one of the pegasus in the army. He didn't seem like a pony anymore, more like a machine. That would listen to what the orders to their superior officer, it looked terrible. He was fortunate that he had no flying or magic powers or he might of joined the NEA as well.

Since the banishment Usaf had been living in his well made hideyhole under a large tree. There were 2 barrels of apples and a supply of water from the lake above that feed into a small spring in the hole. it was small but good enough for a lone survivalist. the first sign that something was going on was the odd amount of dirt and hair in the water. thinking that there were ponies outside in the pond Usaf looked through the spy hole and saw the four ponies in a group talking. Usaf exited the back of his home so to not reveal its location. he walked around and out to the group.

"So i guess there are a few others out here in the woods. That's interesting."

"I was wandering through the forest, there's not much else to do when in exile." He looked slightly confused, but only slightly. "Any plans lately, or are you just out to survive, like everypony else?"

Misty turned away from the unicorn when she realized yet another pony had appeared. "Oh, I guess they're were more ponies around than I thought..." Misty mumbled to herself. She realized she was talking to herself, and stopped before she continued. This one looked better off than Relámpago, so he must have known about survival. "Well, hello. We were just plotting how to over throw Celestia. Would you like to help?" she said in a slightly sarcastic manner. The whole prospect of it sounded silly after saying it a second time. Overthrow Celestia. The words just didn't seem to fit in her mind. Sure, the Princess was the reason she was here, but she doubted that anything could be done about it. Some said that she was more god than pony. Misty had always shrugged off such notions, but the idea was always at the back of her mind. If anything, she hoped that she could just leave this place and live away from that tyrant.

Rocky, still wearing his mustache, was staring at one of the Royal Guards in the castle courtyard. He didn't know why, but he had been staring at him for almost ten minutes. "psst!" He whispered to the guard, "Ask me why I'm standing here."

Relámpago shook his head at Misty's sarcasm. Though her sarcasm was reasonable, it was still a bit off-putting.

 

However, the sounds of his growling stomach seem to have change his mind on something else. "Well, I think it'd be better if start looking for a spot to live by first. We'll be in this place for at least a while, it's better to survive first than maybe we can think of a plan later, if we tried." Relámpago stated.

The guard blinked a few times when he saw the pony asking him a unusual question, "I dunno. What are you doing here?" The guard asked dumbfounded.

He said as he put on a fashionable Fedora, which looked odd since he was still wearing his armor, "I'm here representing the Equestrian Environmental Protection Agency, and I need to investigate some... environment stuff... in the castle... now if you will excuse me..." "There's tons of trees to gather wood from, if we work hard enough, we could build a temporary building, more preferably a type of teepee so it's done earlier." He wasn't quite sure if the ponies trusted him yet, but he was willing to make a place to live.

"Well, if you still want to honor our agreement, I know a lot about the forest. I could teach you how to forage and build a lean-to." Misty said, brightening up since they weren't going to talk of crazy plans for a while. "Do any of you wish to learn, too? All I ask is that you provide me some help in exchange for what I know." She then realized that the red unicorn had spoken up. "Hmm, a temporary building, huh? I guess I could take apart my makeshift shelter to aid in the construction. If we work together, we can increase our chances of survival." She smiled inwardly. They could all be useful to her. The more the merrier, right?

I have a little training with plants, or at least what can be used for different types of fire, but I have only minimal training on what is edible and what isn't, so unless there is no one here experienced with forest foods, I can't do that.
