Is your school bad?

Thankfully my school, Hillsdale College, is a wonderful collegiate institution. Founded in 1844, it's one of the finest schools in the country, one of only one or two schools that doesn't take any federal aid at all, located in a beautiful area of Michigan with an equally beautiful campus, and, no joke, we were ranked 3rd best school in Michigan by Forbes magazine. Plus, everypony's going to love this, Hillsdale was, and I quote, "the first American college to prohibit in its charter all discrimination based on race, religion, or sex." HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!!!!!!!! Sorry if I sound like I'm trying to promote my college or something, but it's really that great of a school, and I'd highly recommend it to any bronies in high school looking for a great college to attend.

My school is old, and has no air con whatsoever. But a new one is being built and ill be the part of the first graduating class!!!!!

My current one looks like a prison on the outside and is Filled with jerks.

Bronies are hard to come by if not nonexistant. (Thats where you guys come in.)

But the teachers are nice.

They actualy give a buck about our success.

But the stupid halifax schoolboard thinks laying off teachers will "even things out"

That means less good experienced teachers and more New unadjusted ones.

So ya my school could be worse.....but it could also be better. the fire drills always land on rainy days and yes they make us go outside still lol.

Wanna be hoods,daily fights,weapons and an inept staff? Yeah, some of those California schools were rather messed up. Whoever was unlucky enough to be normal there was most certainly asking for a beating.

My school is pretty old, but it's really good (It seems like paradise compared to what others have been saying about their schools.)

The biggest downside is that.everything is so spread apart and you have to walk a long way to get there. There are FIVE different buildings that you have 6 minutes to walk between (if there is a big problem, like going from the top of A building down to D or E building, you may be granted and extra 30 seconds...)

 

But as far as staff goes, it's very good. Our Principal is awesome and is involved. There are tons of clubs available to get involved.

As far as students go, there are a lot of judgmental people, but it very, very rarely get physical. I did witness one situation that never really erupted into a fight in middle school, but it was between two tough guys getting in each others' faces about to fight. There was a guy just last year who would always shove a guy every now and then, but it wasn't that big of a problem. These kinds of people are everywhere, and there's really not much that can be done about it.

The school I'm in isn't that bad but it's not good, its between bad and average. The people there aren't that friendly, there are more douchebags than good guys.

 

There are four principals, three are hated by everyone except one of them. People hate them both but they have to respect them since they are principals.

 

A few teachers are amazing, around 65% are fine but the others don't know how to teach or act like complete douchebags. I even heard they give you a terrible grade for effort but A for achievement, which means they're bad teachers.

 

The food at the canteen are rather limited and the quality of the food is almost as bad as jail food, I mean I haven't tasted jail food but what I want to say is it's terrible. There are two breaks in one day, first one lasts 20 minutes while lunch time is 50 minutes. The food supplied during the morning break are terribly unhealthy and the lunch food is average.

 

As much as I'd like to try my best I can't seem to do it, I have been slacking a lot and my grades aren't that good at all, I've failed more than half of the subjects and I am about to start the next year. I'll be trying to catch up but I doubt I can, my life is pretty much ruined right now and I don't know how I am ever going to make it.

 

Anyway, did I go a little bit off-topic? It's related to school though so I suppose it's fine.
