Character Limit not showing up on posts?

Quite frequently, the character counter has not shown up on my post box thingy, and it get's quite confusing because I don't know how far off I am from the character limit. I have also posted with posts under the 100 limit, and had to go back and edit them to make them 100.

 

Is this just me, or is it happening to anyone else?

Has been for a while. Especially on Chrome, for some reason. It's actually not there as I type this response. It can take a few seconds/minute for it to appear sometimes.

I use Chrome so there may be a problem with the browser. Like I said, I made a post earlier that was 68 characters, so I had to go back and edit it, because the limit hadn't appeared.

I'm using Chrome at work, but it's definitely not purely browser related, as I use Firefox at home and it has the same problem. Though on Firefox, it appears when the background fully loads, and on Chrome it doesn't.

This issue has been addressed before, and it is being worked on as we speak. has been hard at work getting the system to work as best as it can, but it takes some time as he has to create the script from scratch. Unfortunately it will be a while before it is complete, and things may never be quite perfect, but he'll make it as close to flawless as he can.

 

Don't hesitate to send him a PM if you notice something wrong with the counter, and he'll make sure to add it to his list of shtuffs that need fixing. Just expect him to ask loads of questions, about minor details that don't seem to matter, if you do

Thanks for the reply! I'll message him if I get any more problems, but I do think the 'allowing posts under 100 characters' should be adressed.
