When Flame made it into the food court he walked to the nearest cafe and started rummaging through the food.

Once he had found something to eat he continued wondering around the hospital.

Are those gunshots ? He stopped and listened for the sound again. Probably just someone out in ponyville...I hope their ok. He thought walking out of the food court and up a small flight of stairs.

Once the mutants lay dead, Lapis Lazuli coughed and looked up. "You, I forget your name. But, I'm dying and you are all there is. I-I....." he stammered as he fought for his last words. "If you see Octavinyl....tell her that....I...love her too....." The poor mangled stallion closed his eyes and didn't open them again. Or, at least Lapis didn't reopen his eyes. He had become infected by the zombies. The undead form of Lapis Lazuli got up off the ground and lunged at Starbolt. He was no longer the stallion he had been. He was a monster now.

Starbolt knocked Lapis back with her magic. "Lapis...." She mumbled as she snared him to the ground. She walked next to the now immobile pony. "I'm sorry..." She whispered as she fired a bolt of fire at him.

A rustling of the bush appeared in the Everfree forest. Hypno stammered out, tripping as he did so. He started to run, accidentally running towards where Starbolt was and making sure he got away from the forest.

The remains of Lapis Lazuli blew away in the wind. The once noble and wise blue stallion was no more. What would Asteria, his young assistant, think? Was she even still alive? It mattered not. She was probably out of the range of the infection. In distance, more zombies could be heard. A zombie pegasus closed in on Starbolt and sized her up.

Starbolt turned and saw the flying infected. Starbolt was tired from her spells she recently cast. She stepped back away from the infected. She was in trouble. She looked around for anything to use against the pegasus, seeing nothing she desperately cast a flame spell. The fire hit the infected pony, it singed it barely even hurting it.

Hypno kept running, he noticed the infected pony attacking Starbolt and instantly shot out a powerful blast of magic in a attempt to kill it. If it were to hit the zombie, it should be able to barely kill it.

[Bari 7,023]

The infected pegasus fell back. As it's unnatural life faded away, it let out a loud cry. More zombies began to show up in full force. It would've been best if the two ponies ran for it. They still had time, and could probably outrun them. Being disfigured meant they couldn't move very fast.

Hypno looked around, looking more nervous by the second. "We gotta run!" He said as he started to run off from where the dead zompony was. He didn't know if Starbolt was following him or not, but he just needed to get out of there.

Starbolt recognized the pony that just helped her, she met him before when studying his unusual magic. She focused on the present. She ran as fast as she could following Hypno. "We have to head to the hospital." She told him as they ran.

[Chickey 383]

"Alright" He yelled back as he changed his direction slightly to the hospital. "N-nice to see you again, Starbolt" He said trying to fake a smile out of his nervous look as he frantically ran for the hospital and away from the zomponies.

[Glaceon 793]

"Good to see you too Hypno. How's your magic coming along?" She asked him as they ran. As they turned a corer an infected pony jumped out an attempted to grab Hypno. Starbolt tackled the infected knocking it to the ground. She attempted to run but it grabbed her hoof. "Gah. Let go." She said as she kicked the thing grabbing her.

Hypno pulled out his katana like sword with black magic and decapitated the infected pony "It's going well, How about yours?" He asked as he sheathed it and kept running away and towards hospital.

(OOC After all this time roleplaying together you finally got to use that sword.)

 

Starbolt kicked the dead infected off of her and ran after Hypno. "Well, it's been good. Do you have an extra weapon? My magic is a little low right now." She replied.

"Eeyup" He said opening his satchel and grabbing out a bone dagger and tossing it to Starbolt. Below his calm stance, something was obviously wrong, very wrong. A zompony jumped out from no where, he impaled it with his sword in mid air and threw it off and continued.

Starbolt caught the dagger with her magic. She levitated it next to her. "Thanks." She replied. They approached the hospital. "Wait, I had Fae set several spore pods on the perimeter to keep the infected out." She said as she stopped running.

Hypno skidded to a stop "O-oh, okay.." He said as he waited for her to do whatever she needed to do. He could still slightly remember Fae from the time that Starbolt and him worked together.

(OOC: Sorry, I have been out for a bit. Doesn't look like anything has happened at the hospital though. Also this will be my last post for tonight.)

 

Silver Heart looked over the list of orders she was given. Mostly just procuring and moving the supplies that the hospital already had to more accessible areas. Since very few ponies decided to stay behind Silver Heart started transferring the basic medicinal supplies to the closest Nurses station by herself. Normally she would have loved to have help but the menial labor was mindless enough that she could finally let herself catch up with everything that had happened. After about an hour, Silver Heart decided to take bring some of the food from the cafeteria to the main lobby in anticipation of the scavengers return.

Starbolt cast a counter spell and in a flash of light several of the spores in front of them disappeared burrowing underground. Unfortunately the light attracted several nearby infected ponies. They saw the two ponies and started to charge towards them. Starbolt turned and saw the incoming infected. "Uhh... Hypno, they are coming." She told Hypno pointing towards the charging infected.

"Well, buck" He said as he unsheathed his sword and shot out a blast of magic, killing one of the zomponies. The five left he sized up then dashed after, using his wings to make him go faster. He quickly sliced one of the ponies, leaving it's head dangling off. It then died seconds after. He turned to the four left and shot another magic blast, killing one. He sliced at another, and used his dagger to stab it in the head, then ripping it out and destroying it's brain. He turned to the last two, and used his enhanced strength to kick one right in the head with force, rupturing it and destroying it's brain.

 

He turned to the last one and grabbed it with magic, and threw it to the ground. He jumped on top of it and began to rapidly beat it to death with his front hooves. Even when it was beyond death he didn't stop. He was obviously having a mental breakdown.

Starbolt saw Hypno bulldoze through the infected. At the last one she noticed him continue to hit the already dead infected. "Hypno, I think it's already dead." She said as approached him.

Hypno stopped, it was obviously that he was slightly crying. He sniffled as he got off it "Oh... Well, y'know, double tap or something... heh heh..." He said awkwardly. He wiped the tears from his face and sheathed his sword and put away the dagger.

"That was way more than a double tap don't you think?" She asked him. "We better head inside before more of the come." She added as she made her way to the door of the hospital.

[Chickey 383]

"Y-yeah" He said sadly as he walked with her and into the hospital. He slowly opened the door and checked inside unsure of who was in there. He waked inside, paying no attention to the other ponies. He sat in the seat furthest away from every pony else and started to cry once more.

Starbolt stepped into the hospital and barricaded the door behind her. She put the knife Hypno gave her in a sheath she saw Hypno in the corner. "Hypno, what's wrong?" She asked her friend as she sat next to him.
