Octavinyl got herself comfortable into the hospital bed, it was getting unusually colder for her ever since Lapis had been killed. She started shivering as she tucked herself in with a blanket. Afterwards she drifted off to a deep sleep, trying to stay as warm as possible.

"Thank," said Earth nodding, speaking for them both. Air Opal didn't speak much anyway, so he didn't mind. They both headed up the stairs to two beds and laid themselves down, closing their eyes and drifting off.

Starbolt heard Red's shouts. She put up a barrier in front of Flame. "Don't shoot him! You are only to shoot infected, is that clear?!" She shouted at him from the entrance of the hospital. She lowed the wall with her magic and let Flame in.

Thanks starbolt. Flame said walking through the door. I went to find some food but I found him laying in the middle of the street we need to get him some help quickly I think he is losing allot of blood. He said walking towards the nearest room.

Drizzle sat in the lobby thinking a few things over. Like what he has seen, who he seen, what he has heard then the sharp pain of hunger hit him. He grabbed his stomach but the pain lasted longer then he ever felt. He thought to himself "This cant be .. hunger i gotta find somthing..... somthing for this... pain!" panting loudly and trying to catch his breath and everytime it seems to get shorter.Stumbling into hallway after hallway looking for some painkillers to stop the pain.he heard nothing just a loud ring and his breathing in his ear. He grasped the railing on the walls in the hallway trying his best to stand up then he felt his chest burning then it went all black. He fell to the floor and hit his head with a loud *Thud*

I am useless... Ruby thought to herself when she started to slowly walk back to her stuff in the main lobby. I can never do anything right... Why did I even come here? I would be better of dead, or else I'll just drag everyone down. Was the kind of thoughts that occupied her mind when she went back to the corner. The memories from her past was still haunting her mind, and the tears burning behind her eyes had not stopped. She laid down in the corner with her things, using the book as a pillow again and hid her face in the red scarf around her neck. She felt the tears running down her cheeks but no sobbing was heard. "I miss you" she weakly whispered, barely heard outside the scarf.

Octavinyl woke up and rubbed her eyes while in the hospital bed. 'Well, looks like it's time for the assignments.' She thought to herself as she yawned and flew towards the door. Then Octavinyl had went to the mare's room to wash up and clean off any blood. Strangely, the water was still running in a crisis like this. Afterwards she got to the floor of the main office through the use of the elevator, everything seemed very quiet. As she picked up the assignments and left the office, she noticed something flash through her mind, 'I hope I don't mess up again like last time...' Octavinyl thought as she went down to the main lobby. When Octavinyl walked into the main lobby, she noticed something awkward. Drizzle was on the floor unconscious and Ruby seemed to be in a bad mood.

"Rawr, I'm your death...Call me Pyrami-..........Huh?!"

Emerald had fallen asleep just outside Octavinyls office, after he had headed out to find a nurse, he had felt a little tired. He sat down for a quick break and had promptly fallen asleep. On awakening from an interesting dream involving a fog-filled town and hundreds of disgustingly warped creatures, constantly pursuing him, he wandered around for a short while, trying to get some feeling back into his legs...He checked in the office for someone to talk to, but they had all moved off.

"Shame...That dream thingy kinda felt a bit like reality........I bet they'd have loved to hear about it...Actually, no, It's probably best if they didn't, they've all dealt with enough of that over the past few days..."

He spoke to himself quietly, looking for his little blade, felt something in his mouth, spitting it out, he realized he had been sucking a knife as he had fallen asleep,

'woah...That was messed up, I hope I didn't eat anything in that dream...I don't think there is any cuts...'

He realized that, having fallen asleep hungry, and waking up Starving, he needed some food

'Maybe...I could find the canteen...But I tried to a while back...And got lost....Wait, Miss. Silver Works here...Maybe if I found her I could find some food...'

With his objective in mind, he set off for the main entrance, hoping to find either Silver Heart, or food, whatever came first.

Starbolt sat up, she was sleeping in a bed she conjured in the main lobby. She looked around and saw Emerald stumble into the main lobby, he looked rather unwell. "Are you alright?" Starbolt asked him with a concerned tone.

Air Opal woke up to the sound of Octavinyl's hooves on the floor. He looked to Earth, who was still soundly sleeping. He silently got up and headed into the lobby following Octavinyl. He still hadn't eaten anything yet, and his stomach was hurting just at the thought.

Octavinyl quickly got herself back to the elevator and rushed to the main office. On her way she saw Emerald seemed very tired, but it looked like Starbolt had it under control so she went inside. As she got into the desk, she immediately turned on the loudspeaker to make another announcement. "Everypony we have a current problem with the amount of hospital food that is left. We are having a shortage of food at the moment, but there is still some in the mess hall that is enough for everypony in the hospital. It will only last for today so I will need volunteers to help me scavenge for food items." Octavinyl said as she then turned off the loudspeaker after she was done. This time there aren't going to be any losses, the lookout will be able to keep in touch with the scavenging team.

Starbolt heard the announcement. "Fae go help Emerald. Emerald just tell Fae what you need, she can understand you." Starbolt told Emerald and went off to look for Octavinyl to sign up for scavenging. Starbolt was determined to make sure everypony lives through this.

Octavinyl quickly went back to the main lobby to see the status of everypony. 'It looks like some of these guys are starving... You poor souls...' She thought as she grabbed a bag that she used earlier, but whenever she was reminded of that assignment, she was reminded of Lapis. Her heart felt like a million glass pieces, but she wasn't going to let it happen again. This time everypony will be in touch by the use of the walkie talkies.

Starbolt saw Octavinyl walk in the lobby. "I'm going to go scavenging again. This time Fae is comming with me." She told Octavinyl. "We will try to keep the infected back." She added in a determined tone.

Octavinyl nodded to Starbolt and accepted her on the mission, "I admire your bravery, so I must thank you Starbolt." she replied as she gave her a bag as well. She showed everypony who was joining the assignment the directions, "There will be a school supply store nearby so I think we should grab plenty of backpacks and knapsacks for good use, but only on our way to the market. One we make it to the market, we will have to grab any food items we can. Meanwhile we'll have lookouts on the roof of the hospital notifying any dangers nearby."

 

((OOC: I might have to go somehwere for a while so everypony can do whatever they want with Octavinyl. Go ahead and get her mortally wounded, but don't kill her off.))

Emerald was beginning to break down slightly, the lack of food, the constant fear of the infected, the feeling of almost complete loss of too many old friends and family members, finally began to take it's toll on the green coated colt.

'Well, they said last time it was a 'death sentence'..This time it will be, if we don't collect enough supplies...........Focus! Stop drifting off! other's need you...kinda.........'

His eyes flickered slightly,

"We need to get some food soon, I don't think I, nor many of you, can survive much longer..."

ir Opal crept up behind Starbolt, saying silently to not startle her, "I'll come with you." He turned toward the still standing barrier and removed the spell he had placed on it last night. It still stood, but it was weaker from the sudden release of pressure.
