Need help thinking of a name for my pony.

I've been working on creating a pony for a bit of time, and finally came upon a design, talent and cutie mark. I've never been good with names, so I'd like to ask the community for a little help. ^^;

 

I made him with the pony creator, since I can't draw very well. He works as a farmer, planting all sorts of crops. Apples, oranges, wheat... anything, really.

if i could see his cutie mark, that might help me a bit, what is it exactly? from what i see, it looks like a plant sprout, no offence meant

It is a plant sprout. That's what I'd been working on, trying to come up with a decent looking cutie mark. And no offense taken. ^^

 

Erk! I forgot to add his glasses when I was creating him. Not that big of a deal, I can just add them later.

Sure thing. I'll be busy working on fixing up his appearance, since I tend to rush things a bit. Mostly his glasses and fixing the hair. XD (I really need to plan more...)

That's the problem I've been having. I don't think I want a normal sounding name, but something related to his cutie mark. Something... plant-y. I dunno, just pitch anything you can think of. ^^

Yeah, naming characters has never been my strong suit. I've always struggled to come up with anything at all. Hopefully it won't take another week or two to come up with one.

Ohhh man I know that feeling..... I am the worst at coming up with new names for characters.... Probably why im trying to help you out with this its seriously the worst thing trying to think of one

I agree. But I think I'm getting closer. Something... pepper. Peppertrot? Pepper Sprout? Uhm... I don't know what sounds good, really. Though Peppertrot is my favourite, so far.

Can other people ask for help naming their OC's too? Like my friend. I suggested Sugar Rush, but I bet that is so overused, that I wanted to suggest a new one. I will post a pic later.
