As I understand, Gama had stayed inside the city to hunt down the remaining demons from Butajiris portal as some kind of atonement. If he was killed by the demon that I suspect is responcible we may be in a lot of trouble."

He turned back to Wits.

He sighed again. What was getting into his head? It seemed like something had just rushed by... time..? No, maybe something physical...

He could tell Nightfall was competent, it just felt like someone was urging him on towards endless fighting. He didn't like that, so what could he do but try and counteract it?

Den said over the radio, "Yes sir! And Maven, the 'Stop Receiving' button it the red one, that has a picture of a mouth and a big red X over it." He clicked his receiver off, "Come on Cherry Blossom. If we hurry, we'll have it to ourselves for a few more minutes while they bicker about demons." He grinned and started walking.

That powerful mixture of Demon, Spirit, and magical energy is something only Rando can create. As far as legend says, he finds ponies with rare or unusual abiltys, and copies them just by watching the pony preform his ability. After he learns a new technique, he... Tests it. He uses it to kill as many ponies as he can until he's reached the limit of his new power, and with the abilities we have, that could take quite some time."

Cherry Blossom blushed and felt very excited on the inside, but she went ahead and followed Den to the next location. "I'm really happy on how you've been such a gentlecolt to me from yesterday." She put her hooves to her face, because she was feeling very flattered.

He blushed, "I try to show anypony I meet respect. It's something my dad use to tell me to do. That's actually what he told me to do after I punched that one pony... Here we are," he says in front of the warehouse. Using the riot shield, he broke the padlock off the door and opened it for her.

He stepped out of the door and came face-to-face with another mare. Light blue, white-tipped nose, pegasus, with a deep blue hoodie on and a machine gun strapped to her back.

"Hey," she said. She smiled slyly.

"Name's Speedy. Couldn't help but over hear some stuff. Sounds nice, but I'm afraid you wont win in the long run. I'll make sure I leave some stuff always lying around so your job is never finished. Later!" She jumped up and disappeared quickly.

His face darkend momentarily, "That's... Harder to explain. But let's take a look around; we might be able to find a room to be our office. Maybe something with a good view, you know?" He walked in after her closing the door, and smiled. He was here, alone, with a pony that he loved; life was good.

Cherry Blossom looked around of the inside of the warehouse. It seemed this whole place could work really well as a police station, but it was a bit dirty and would need some cleaning. They would also need some equipment, but almost everything was at the police station, which was a death trap. Though Den and Cherry Blossom had managed to get enough equipment from the armory. Cherry Blossom turned around and looked at Den.

"Cocky little bitch," Said Jack, "No need to worry, she doesn't have enough power to fill a teacup. She must be dumber than you, dimwit. I blame the schools. Still, if she chooses to get in our way, I say we teach her a lesson." His mind drifted to more important things. He sighed heavily.

Maven: "Well that was abrupt."

 

Den walked around a little, looking through the rooms. He found a good one and noticed Cherry Blossom looking at him. He blushed and looked down, but said, "How does this one look to you." He pointed at the room, simultaneously openning the door so she could see.

She looked around as she went inside, but there were a few spider cobwebs that freaked her out. The whole room seemed to have plenty of space around. "Do you think I should bring a broom and some cleaning supplies from my home? This place would really need some cleaning."

A city. A city full of violence and hate. Degenerate and chaotic, with no one to tame it....

 

No... no that wasn't quite right. It had been a while since he had done the monologue thing. It took more work than he had remembered.

 

Manehattan. City of heroes, and city of villains. It had been a while since he had fought the darkness, but old habits died hard. The chaos with the police had convinced him it was time to act once more. Quickly and with a sense of purpose. And so it was time to return.

 

It was time for the Hoof of Justice to make a return, and boldly, for the sake of the city, and for the sake of Equestria.

 

He dove off the rooftop and into action.

Wits headed to the warehouse. There was a lot of work to do, rebuilding infrastructure. He made some calls and set up a connection to the account of the police force, dusty and large from disuse. He pulled out his cell phones and made some calls. Desks, computers, office supplies would be necessary, and quickly. Next ads in the newspaper for recruitment, and finally fliers for the same.

 

He would take back this city inch by inch, if necessary. He would rip the corruption from the ground in the name of the Sun and the Moon.

 

To BATTLE!.... of paper. Huh. He dug into some paperwork, filing a report for Celestia.

 

"Dear Princess Celestia..."

Den thought about it, "Ya, I think some cleaning supplies would be nice." And it'll give us the chance to get to know each other better. If she gets to know me, will she still like me? Or should I build some false, respectable facade, so that she has some pony to lean on. If I do that though, it might come back to bite me in the flank... We'll see.

Cherry Blossom nodded and removed of all of the heavy police equipment she was wearing. She eventually flew out of the door and started flying towards her house to get the cleaning supplies. Cherry Blossom greeted bye as she left the warehouse, "A tout a l'heure Den!"

 

As she flew towards her house, she noticed Wits End on the way.

Seiryu watched the transaction between Speedy and Nightfall. Interesting, he thought, but Nightfall is the one Rando wants. He followed Nightfall, keeping his distance so as not to be seen.

 

 

 

Jack had followed Wits to the warehouse. He had constantly asked himself why he had come. Group work wasn't his strong suit.

As she flew towards her house, she noticed Wits End on the way.

 

Wits was arguing on the phone with a pony.

 

"I don't CARE if you've been attacked. You agreed to have the fliers by the end of the week! No, I will not pay considerations. You agreed to the terms, you took the many, and you will give me the mooned fliers or so help me I will contact Celestia! ...Yes that will be acceptable. Thank you."

 

He saw the pegasus and snapped his phone shut. "Cherry Blossom! Hi!" He walked up to her. "How goes the work, officer?"

"I guess things are working out, but I'm heading to my house to get some cleaning supplies. Oh and the warehouse may be a bit dusty." Cherry Blossom replied as she gave the detective a warm friendly smile. "Well, I'll be on my way then." she added as she continued flying to her home.

"Oh, bye!" He called. Smooth Den. That alone, bonding time? You just let it fly out the front door. Way to go, moron. Least you can do is try to clean up your office. He sighed and opened the windows. Then, bracing the doorway, he started flapping his wings as hard as he could. Dust started blowing out the windows.

"Yeah... I don't really like her too much. Too short to be good. Let's just get to the warehouse."

Nightfall strapped his gun back to his back, then started setting off, holding the door for Delphina.

She grinned and kissed him on the cheek as he passed, "You're such a gentlecolt Nightfall. You should be the star of one of those spy movies where you charm and quick wits gets the girl." She winks, but she doesn't dare show anymore relationship-like material in public. Too many things could happen.

Cherry Blossom went inside of her house and gathered as many cleaning products and stuffed them in a mail bag. She looked back at the mail bag and saw memories of being a mailmaire, but that was a few weeks ago... She grabbed a broom and a mop, then started flying back to the warehouse.

He sighed and smiled. Yeah, he shouldn't screw this up. He followed and caught up to her, using his long stride to get next to her, and then shorten his stride so she wouldn't have to speed up.

"Delphina, do we know exactly where this warehouse is? We probably shouldn't wander around, so if not, maybe we should call up Den."
