She nodded, "I know exactly where it is. I used to use it to get away from doors knocking at 4 o'clock in the morning. It's this way." She leaned against him and closed her eyes, smiling happily. "Wits confuses me. He said that vigilantes have to register with the police force. But he also said that he was here to root out vigilantes." She sighed.

"You're right." Seiryu said to Nightfall, emerging from the shadows in a cold mist, "Wondering around this city is foolish. As is announcing the location in which you intend to stay. One never knows who may be watching." The ruby eyes on his dragon pendant glowed like fire. "Rando doesn't like what you're trying to do. It's time I took back the life I saved."

[Cherry Blossom 864]

Cherry Blossom finally made it back to the warehouse after a few minutes went by. She set down the cleaning products as soon as she got inside of the place. It seemed like it was going to be tiring work, but she took up a mop and started mopping the floor.

[Nightfall 3,950]

"You're right." Seiryu said to Nightfall, emerging from the shadows in a cold mist, "Wondering around this city is foolish. As is announcing the location in which you intend to stay. Nightfall took out his machine gun, giving the other to Delphina. He never took his eyes off of this new demon.

"You're right. It was stupid. But who is this Rando? I need to know, so I may see what I can do. I don't plan on dying anytime soon. And please hurry. I'm on a time limit."

Delphina stepped in front of Nightfall, but then her eyes widened; an unhappy looking white unicorn was standing behind the self-proclamed dragon.

 

Sapphire had been looking for any group of cops all day. It figured that the one she found was Nightfall and Maven. As usual, fighting. She saw a familiar form she'd though she'd vaporized earlier, but it didn't surprise her to much. "Hey you, remember me?" She called, and then immediately shot a lightning bolt from her horn tip towards his center of gravity.

 

Den had basically blown all of the dust and cobwebs out of the office at this point. His shoulders burned from exertion, but he could happily say he did something, and hopefully impress Cherry Blossom. He hoped that by seeming useful, she'd like him more; he was having self-confidence issues.

Nightfall took out his machine gun, giving the other to Delphina. He never took his eyes off of this new demon.

"You're right. It was stupid. But who is this Rando? I need to know, so I may see what I can do. I don't plan on dying anytime soon. And please hurry. I'm on a time limit."

The layer of ice spread from Seiryu to Nightfall, bringing with it a cold gush of wind. "You know not who you fight! I am Seiryu, the Ice Dragon! You will meet your death with the other weaklings!"

 

"Did you expect your old killer?"

Nightfall pointed his hoof behind the demon, hoping this distraction would work. The pulled out his swords and his gun magically, ready to use both as he would spring onto the demon. He hoped the bullets would get through...

[Cherry Blossom 864]

Cherry Blossom made her way to her and Den's office room while mopping the floor. She slowly opened the door of the office and saw that the room had been cleaner than before. Cherry Blossom smiled as she flew inside of the room and looked around, but she looked at den with a smile. "You did this all by yourself?"

He nodded, but his face was grimacing, "My shoulders are officially dead. They must have more knots in the than a grandfather tree," he complained. "So, what do you think? This a good office?" He smiled at her, hoping she liked it. After all he cleaned it already.

Seiryu felt Sapphires presence, and held out his hand to intercept the lightning. It froze solid into a bar of ice. "Perhaps I never mentioned that I can convert raw energy into ice. Unfortunately for you, I am well equipt to fight the larger groups." He formed a ball in his right hand and held it above his head. He blew onto the ice and it spread into the air as hundreds of small, razor sharp shards of ice. "Shards of Winter!" The ice chips spread out and shot at all three of Seiryus targets with speeds nearly equal to a bullet.

[Cherry Blossom 864]

"I guess you should take a break or something, but if you want, I'll give you some bits for you to get a soda or something. Well if we decorated it with maybe a few pictures and a vase full of flowers, then it would be wonderful. I can already see it in the future." Cherry Blossom smiled at Den and continued her work in cleaning up the whole warehouse. She also wanted to do a check in all the equipment they had brought from the armory, but strangely she noticed Nightfall, Maven, and Delphina hadn't returned yet. "Excuse me Den, but did Nightfall, Maven, and Delphina come by yet?"

(For future reference, Maven = Delphina. The unicorn is Sapphire)

 

Sapphire brought a sheild to life as soon as she heard the word 'ice' come out of his mouth. The hailstorm glanced off her sheild and into the walls of nearby buildings. Maven sang the highest note she could, and the ice shards broke into powder. No points for style though; so did nearby glass panels.

 

Den thought about, "No, actually. Which is weird. Sapphire's cutting me off, too. I can feel a faint impression of anger, but that's it."

((OOC: Maven and Delphina are two personalities in a body? Just like Den and Sapphire were?))

 

"I think it would be a good idea to check in with all units. I mean if you wouldn't mind at all." Cherry Blossom continued mopping up the floor as she made gestures towards the police issue radio in the equipment bag. She put her police uniform back on and continued to mop the floor.

(The Music Maven (TMM, Maven) is a super hero. Delphina is Maven when she's not dressed up, or when I need a few more characters to fill a post)

 

Den nodded and picked up the radio, "Captain, this is Den checking in on you. Everything okay?" He clipped the receiver onto his uniform and waited for a response. He also watched Cherry work, smiling faintly.

"Very well then. It doesn't matter how long you attempt to delay this, you're still going to die!" Seiryu curled each hand into a fist and made a flurry of punches in Mavens direction. Anything in the punches paths, even things that were not touched, would become covered in a thick layer of ice. "ICE DRAGON!"

Cherry Blossom finished mopping up the room and started to mop up the other areas inside of the warehouse, but she left a wet floor sign, just in case. She pulled out some healing spray and a piece of cloth to start wiping off the grime and dust on the walls. "So how is your foreleg feeling?" she asked, still feeling concern about shooting him earlier, as she sprayed some of the substance onto a wall.

Sapphire laughed with insanity, and teleported right behind him. He tapped him, saying, "Tag, you're it!" And running in circles around him. "I wish I had hoofcuffs; this would be so much more fun." She tapped horn to his leg and transferred heat from the air directly to his leg, creating a burning sensation amplified by the chilled air. She giggled.

 

Den grinned, "Still worried about that? I'm fine!" He wasn't, I a but he didn't want her to know that. He didn't want her to be angry with herself, because in his opinion, she'd experienced enough of that, and was probably going to experience more before the end of the day. Let her have happiness.

"Alright, but if it hurts a bit, then maybe I could massage around the area gently for you. I mean if you would want that you could..." she added as she finished cleaning up one part of the warehouse. She made her way to the S.W.A.T. equipment that she wore earlier and put it back on. Nightfall and Maven hadn't replied.

"Well, if your offering messages... I guess my shoulders still hurt a bit..." He said. The thought of her messaging his back was to much for him to resist. In the back of his mind, worry for Sapphire and company knawwed at the back of his mind, but he tried to ignore it. It was another opportunity to be alone with Cherry Blossom.

"Well after the quick massage, I'm going to go out and find everypony." Cherry Blossom then flew over to Den and started gently massaging his shoulders. "You know I also learned this massage technique, but I forgot what it was exactly called. Though I keep calling it the bear massage," she added as she continued to massage Den's shoulders.

Den nodded, distracted. He wasn't very good at ignoring or hiding worry. "I'll go with you. Afterwords, I was think about taking you to the shooting range." He keyed the radio and spoke again, "Den to Captain Nightfall, Music Maven, or Sapphire, report! Are you in need of assistance?"

Cherry Blossom finished massaging Den's shoulders so they wouldn't feel so tense anymore. She began to check her equipment, "Uniform? Check. Combat helmet? Check. Tactical belt? Check. Combat vest? Check. Tactical goggles? Check. Hoofcuffs? Check. Pepper spray? Check. Tazer gun? Check. I think I'm ready to go now."

"Alright," he says. He actually felt much better now than he had before working his muscles into knots. He thought it was because his muscles had become over-worked, and her touch had worked the scars out of them. "Thanks for that," he said, putting on his goggles, grabbing the riot shield, and standing, "Let's go."

Cherry Blossom flew up and followed Den as well. "Oh it's no problem, it's just what I like to do," she replied as she looked around the streets of Manehattan. The whole city seemed to be such a mess, but Cherry Blossom tried to get it out of her mind by thinking of puppies, kittens, and foals.

Den blushed; without a doubt in his mind, he knew he had fallen hard for this mare. He flew close to her, and the more time he spent with her, the harder time he was having worrying. He flew close to her, saying, "Maybe we should fly over the buildings, get an aerial veiw."
