Den wiped away the blackish spit-up and smiled kindly, "If you were a flower, I would water you every day. If you were a dog, you would have a seat at my table. If you were a cat, my door would always be open. If you were... were a demon, I would follow you and make sure you didn't kill anypony. I don't care what you look like; I care about who you are. You are my 'Blossom'."

Cherry Blossom's face flushed and she was feeling happier than ever. A single tear ran down her cheek as she began to sob in happiness. "I-I've always wanted a stallion to say something like that to me... I'm really flattered Den, I'm really flattered. I love you very much." she put on a smile as she sobbed and hugged Den.

Den smiled, happier than he'd been in a long while. He smiled, holding her tighter and feeling extremely lucky, even though his marefriend was still black, with totally read, undead-like eyes and cannibalistic teeth. (Which I'm pretty sure nopony saw coming) "I love you too Cherry. Or Sour. Either one."

"I think we should get out of this forest now. I'm really exhausted and my body is sore, but I'm glad you were always there with me Den." Cherry Blossom gave Den a short kiss and went back to cuddling him. She was feeling a bit sleepy and her whole body was covered in wounds and bruises.

He flushed and picked her up gently, placing her on his shoulders. If I had my way, you would be seen as a hero, even if you went a little berserk, but I have a feeling that soon there is going to be hell to pay. If Nightfall were to call him, this would be one of the few times he would not answer. He carried her home, and when he got there, set her gently on the bed, climbing in next to her. He figured if she wanted him out, she'd say something.

Cherry Blossom put her arms around Den and started to fall asleep. Things seemed to get much better by the second, because Den has a better home, Cherry Blossom isn't lonely and very shy anymore and Sour Blossom calmed down. It was as if destiny put things together.

Den relaxed as she put her arms around him, which may surprise some ponies due to Cherry's more monstrous appearance, but she meant more to him than just a mare, and at this point he'd do just about anything for her. Sapphire had come out of the sword, looking worried. She was worried that Den was too devoted.

Wits was appalled. They were police officers. He wasn't a vigilante, and neither were they. They were officers not only of good, but of law. It didn't matter how much evil he had done, he had been defeated and incapacitated. They should not have killed him. They should have brought him to justice. It didn't matter if he was Discord himself, they had a system, and the system needed to be adhered.

 

Begrudgingly, he made his preparations. They would submit to penalties, or they would be punished more severely.

 

It was the way. It was the order. It was Harmony.

Cherry Blossom yawned and rubbed her eyes in the next morning. She got up and flew to the bathroom to wash up and as she looked at herself in the mirror she said to herself, "I still look like a monster."

Cherry Blossom went into the shower and started cleaning herself up from yesterday's incident. SHe suddenly felt sick on the inside and started coughing up the black liquid again, so she collapsed to her knees.

Den woke up slowly? At first he didn't recognize the sound of somepony spilling their guts out, but we he did, he became terrified. Not another sickness to take away somepony I love! Celestia, no! it was me! I deserve it! He ran into the bathroom, awake and slightly pale, quickly checking her vitals! Then flipping her on her stomach with her head near the drain, turning off the water.

"D-Den, I don't feel so good..." Cherry Blossom continued to suffer by coughing out more of the black liquid. Her head began to feel very dizzy and she was losing consciousness. She fought it as hard as she could with her will, but Cherry Blossom started coughing up more amounts of the inky black substance.

He nodded, but he didn't know what he could do. "Just stay with me, okay? Just... Just stay out of any lights, and try to stay awake," he said. He didn't really sound okay, more like panicked that he was going to lose somepony again. He rubbed her back and hid his face so she wouldn't see his tears. If Wits were to show up right now, he'd probably get a door slammed in his face. Which isn't something Den would normally do.

Cherry Blossom's eyes were only slightly open; she could barely keep them open. She began to feel weaker, the more of the substance she coughed up. "W-What do we do D-Den?... I-It hurts so m-much and I just can't take it..." she spoke faintly, but she also fidgeted around painfully.

He was shaking, trying not to show what he was thinking, trying not to think about the possibility that Cherry Blossom might die and there was absolutley nothing he could do about it. "You just... You just try to endure it. I know it... It hurts right now, but it'll feel better later, I promise," he said, thinking, Even if later means in the afterlife. No, I can't afford to think like that.

"I-I just..." Cherry Blossom grew silent and her eyes shut. Her heart rate stopped and so did her breathing. She fell and became motionless, but it seemed she stopped coughing up the inky substance. It looks like Cherry Blossom had just died there and nothing could have been done.

"NO!" he screamed, punching the mirror as hard as he could. The glass rained down around him and the wall behind the wall had a hoof-shaped crater that happend to be blackened. He hadn't realized he'd emitted spirit energy into his punch, but if anything, it just made him more sad. He drug Cherry's corpse out of the tub (I don't know what else to call it...) and sat down, laying her across his legs. The he cried and buried his face in her mane.

Cherry Blossom opened her eyes again, but her heart rate and breathing didn't continue. She just stared at Den with a poker face, until she let out an agressive growl, which returned back her red and sharp teeth. She grabbed Den's neck and started to choke him with her two hooves.

Den didn't realize what was happening until she was squeezing the life out of him. "Sour... It's me! De-en!" He grasped at her hooves and tried to pry them from his neck without hurting her. He was still tearing up, and it was hard for him to see, but he tried to put on a brave face. He still felt like he'd failed her, and he was beginning to think that he might deserve to die.

Cherry Blossom proceeded to hold him by the neck and threw him into one of the bedroom windows. She screamed monstrously as she threw out through the shattered glass. Cherry Blossom flew out the window, revealing her inly wings were covered in the inky substance as well. She flew right into Den to hit him with her backlegs.

Den registered himself flying through a broken window, fealing more glass rain down on him, then felt himself hit the ground. Vision blurred, he looked up and barely saw Cherry Blossom. He actually saw the white and pink one reflected in the black on, and then felt her collide with him. He keeled over and couphed up blood. Some really strange, frightening part found this to be a pleasurable experience, but his body screamed with pain and he couphed up blood. He smiled again with blood streaked across his face, "What I do this time?" he managed, "When you shot me, I'm sure Sour Blossom had a reason; what'd I do now?"

Cherry Blossom was silent and she started choking Den again. It was the same beast-like animal behavior from earlier, but this time, she was targeting Den. She only replied as a growl as she continued to choke the life out of Den and possibly rupture the veins in his neck. Cherry Blossom even started to try biting down onto Den's chest, it seemed she was trying to rip out his heart as well.

Den's eyes sparked and some form of primal instinct made his hoof go over his heart and block her bite. than he rolled her over and put her in a tight hug, going around her arms and wings and locking behind her back, hugging her tight enough that her head was next to his and practically unable to bite him. "What'd I do?" he whisperd.

Jack began to refill the mound of dirt where he had laid Rando's corpse. It was right next to where he had buried Gama's head. He left room for a third grave. That would do for now. "It's all your fault you stupid son of a bitch." He said, but he was not only speaking to Rando.

 

(We will need new villains, but if I add another one, it won't be a demon.)

Cherry Blossom did nothing more than just growl back and tried to fight his grip. She shook around violently, hoping to cause Den some trouble of restraining her. Cherry Blossom didn't recognize Den anymore, she comepletely turned into this monster, but only a little spark of memory in her brain remained.

Den actually nuzzled the feral Cherry Blossom. The longer he was there, the more he felt like maybe he should die. He pushed her shoulders down and kissed her, on the mouth, very briefly and let her go. He then waited calmly for her to kill him; he felt that he deserved it. (Please don't kill him. Then I have to go through the process of making a new character)
