Karasu glanced at Magneus and continued walking, paying him no mind. He stopped and looked at Magneus again. "No reason for us to talk." he said, "I do not care to meet anyone new." He looked away and slowly walked down the street with no expression on his face.

Cherry Blossom even started sweating the black liquid, but her hoof started to move slightly. She opened her eye slowly and tried to get back up, and out of the bath tub. Cherry Blossom was strauggling to move and at the same time coughing out the black liquid into the tub and onto the bathroom floor. She was having trouble trying to get up on her hooves.

Den reached in cautiously and turned on the water from the shower, directing it to wash away the black liquid. Then he very gingerly picks her up inside the tub, helping her to her hooves, "Cherry Blossom, are you there? Do you remember me? How about this pony, do you remember Wits?"

Cherry Blossom opened her mouth as if she was about to say something, but she went ahead and wrapped her hooves around Den's neck. It was obvious that she was trying to strangle him again as she growled at his face and tried to bite his nuzzle once more.

His arm shot up again and he held it there, bearing the pain and staring into her eyes. He was searching, searching for any sign of Cherry Blossom. He let his soul energy seal through the wound, hoping it might help her remember. He thought he saw a spark of what he was looking for, but he wasn't entirely sure. "I made you a promise, Cherry. Do you remember my promise?"

Cherry Blossom didn't answer and just growled as she reached for his heart with her hooves. She continued her previous failed attempts at killing Den. Her next target was to possibly break both of his forelegs so she reached out for them and tried to fracture them.

(I'm not really sure what to do) Den backed up, getting another memory. His spirit energy ( Ima call it chi from now on.) slowly curled up Cherry's body, starting around her legs. His eyes glowed blue, and Cherry began to see a different side of him, his primal-ancestral side. If he had been born in another time, under tribal heritage, he would've had a destiny in being a Beastmaster. A shimmery, half-real bone necklace apeared around his neck, and he growled. She'd been trying to break his arms and he knew it. He placed both of his hooves on her shoulders and forced her to belly out on the ground. Then he got on top of her and completed a closed circuit with his energy. It almost immediately became a binding in real life, but in their minds, it was as if they had been teleported into a tribal arena. Den had war paint, and a bown necklace matching up with a bone circlet. He was sitting, gazing coldly at her. "You wish to usurp me, Maiden? then by the laws of our clan, you are permitted a fight; we fight until one of us is disabled or experiences death. The winner returns from the spirit world leader, the loser returns as the follower. Are you ready?"

((OOC: I don't really know what to do either. Well I should say that Cherry Blossom turned into a violently, berserk evil monster. Thus explaining the wholy red eyes, inky black coat, inky covered wings, red sharp teeth and wild behavior with a sudden taste for hearts. But this sounds like it has something to do with wolves.))

 

Cherry Blossom was undisturbed by all the images and just charged at him head on. She constantly roared at him as she unfolded her wings and tried to attack him airborne. It was like almost as if she was a monster before she was even born in Equestria.

(It's based on the roman traditional practice of gladiators, mixed with traditional ideas of barbarian tribes. Basically, he's trying to tame her.)

 

Reaching into his pack of beast training supplies, he grabbed a whip and and flicked upwards. It wrapped around her midsection, and he tried to force her into the ground. Den had considerable strength, but he was unsure of the capabilities of this side of Cherry. However, he had made a promise; "If you become a demon, I'll make sure you don't kill anypony," he mumbled under his breath.

Cherry Blossom grabbed the whip and tried to rip it apart with her twi hooves and by biting it. She made no attempts at ceasing her attack and continued to charge at Den Blindly. Cherry Blossom was relying mostly on her berserk anger, causing a sudden speed in movement and ability. She would do a flip and land all her hooves right onto Den's torso.

Den dropped the whip and dodge-jumped left, avoiding her attack. While she was off-balance from landing, he kicked out at her head. He struck hard and fast; in the place they were, no harm could come to the bodies from eachother. Death in this world felt real, but instead of waking up in heaven, you woke up in Equestria.

Cherry Blossom screamed from the pain, but she continued her rampage and became furiously a bit more angry. She wildly roared at him and charged at Den with full speed on all four limbs, but even her wings added some more momentum to her charge. Cherry Blossom was aiming directly at smashing into his heart.

Den looked like he was going to take the charge, but he really had a harness he was grasping. At the last moment, he shot up and fit it snugly on her mouth, using it to flip onto her back. He tried to use it to force her into the ground by muscling it downwards. He also used it to stay on her back.

And with that, Cherry Blossom fell to the ground. Though she started trying to thrash around and push him off of his back. It seemed like a rodeo of some sort, but this was a strange one since it was a pony riding a pony. She neighed wildly and struggled to get Den to fall off.

Den continued to force her into the ground. When he succeeds, he's planning on using ropes to bind her. The process would establish his dominance and bind their souls together in the way that his ancestors would forge a relationship with their own creatures. If pressed, he'd admit it was weird, but anypony who saw Cherry like this would call her a monster. He was beginning to understand it as an animalistic nature, and animal rituals should work on an animalistic nature, right?

Cherry Blossom eventually became to exhausted to continue fighting back against the stallion, so she just stopped her resistance. But she was still planning to rip out his heart, just not at the moment right now. She started moaning in exhaustion and tried to bite him, but faintly.

Wits began analyzing her aura. "This is a malady of some sort," he said. "I need to study it. This isn't going to end, and its not going to stop, and you're not going to be able to stop her for long. What I need is some time to myself to fix the problem at hoof." He looked at her aura and tried to determine the cause and what was happening, seeing if he could reverse or fix it.

Den began the sacred process of binding her, as practiced in his tribe for the years up to their collapse. He began by carefully binding her mouth; tightly, but not cruely, and working his way down. He threaded the bindings with his own aura, opening his soul to hers. Even if his was closed to him, the ritual's completion would bind them.

Karasu abandoned Magneus in the street. He had wondered the lower parts of the city in search of easy entertainment, but found nothing. He was at that time, perched on balcony of a hotel room that he did not have the key to. He knew there were powerful ponies in this city. He only needed to find them.

A voice flooded into Den's mind as their souls were being binded together. "Den, I'm so sorry I started hurting you, but I've developed a hunger for hearts lately and..." Her voice was silent after that, but her body was motionless and her eyes were closed as well.

He did the equivalent of a mental hug, and continued to bind her, saying, "I noticed. Cherry, we can't wake up from this until one of us wins," he continues mentally, "And if I win, our souls will be bound together as my ancestors bound animals. It isn't what I want. If you win, you gain control over me. This is also not a desirable outcome. But if I didn't do this, Wits was going to probably hospitalize you, examine you like a test subject. I didn't want that even more. My point is that ee're both going to come out of this changed, and it scares me a little." He had reached here wings. He began binding it in such away that the blades on her wings couldn't cut the bonds.

Cherry Blossom started attacking all of a sudden again. She shook around violently, hoping to throw Den off balance. His heart was all she wanted to be satisfied, or maybe she wanted to devour everypony's heart. And she was planning to do so as well, but first she had to get rid of everypony that would be an obstacle to her.

He was at the wingtips when she started. But his chi was still connected to the bindings, so her trashing really only hurt his arms. Due to the fact that they were practically have connected, she could feel it too, She could also probably sense that he intended to keep going. Which he did.

Wits wasn't quite sure what was going on, so he had little choice but to try and help Den how he could. He used a spell to join his mental dexterity and strength to Den's, and healed up his magical and aural wounds as much as he could.

 

"C'mon," he said, his voice steady and concerned. "You have this. Its all you..."

Cherry Blossom continued trying to resist, but it seemed inevitable that she would be defeated. She tried to use her will power to fight against the connection. A white aura appeared around herself as she mentally tried to shatter the connection.
