"He wasn't serious, Wits." said Patches. "Nopony is actually becoming Karasu's sex slave."

 

"I never said that." Lust retorted.

 

"... Alright," Patches yelled as he charged his hoofs. "I'm kicking his ass out of principal! Any objections?"

 

"I'm sorry," Lust said, "but you're all going to die without ever laying a hoof on me."

"What are we watiing, for, then?" Wits said. "Let's go. He charged a ton of magical energy through his horn and launched a spear at high velocities, aiming for Lust and going for a kill, aiming for the chest.

 

((Sorry, my friend has been visiting and I have not been able to get on.

In conjunction with Wits' attack, Sapphire's horn glowed. Semi-transparent, blue, crystalline walls slid up on either side of Lust, inhibiting her movement. Den took out his shotgun and shot it off at Lust, hoping the slug might distract him, so he wouldn't move.

Lust held out one of his front hoofs in the direction of Wits' javelin. It exploded without even being touched! The force of the blast caused the energy to disperse. He made another quick motion and the BBs from Dens shotgun shell were destroyed as well. "Well now, it seems you have underestimated me. I don't even need to touch you. It's just one of the perks."

 

(He's creating tiny, invisible creatures that lock on to energy then explode. Wits could probably sense this.)

"You're fighting style is very interesting...." Wits said. "But it must consume a lot of energy."

 

He drew upon more power, then, launched a stream of water at the pony. If it exploded, it reformed and then kept going towards the opponent at high speeds.

 

"Tell me, you are still Karasu, just another form, are you not? Then I guess that makes you, physiologically male. You might be mentally female, though."

(Not that it matters, but shotguns have two different kinds of shot: slug and pellet. He shot slug)

 

Den took out his whip, and energy traversed down the leather as his soul powered the length. He cracked it and it sparked, "I don't think looking weak is distracting her. Him. Whatever." He cracked it out at Lust.

When the water and whip would have hit Lust, he became a blur and seemingly disappeared. He showed up in the corner of the room, unharmed. "Just so you know, I'm not teleporting. Your eyes are just slow."

 

He formed two, invisible monsters that would have looked like floating eyes if they could be seen. They both flew out at the group, one was going for Wits and the other for Maven (because they happen to be the closest) They made no sound.

Nightfall rushed forward, streaks of lightning (not very harmful, but frightening) rushing from Demon Blitz. The streaks made him look menacing, as if he had long, sharp fangs and huge wings. He jumped up, spinning the sword in a massive circle, and brought it down, tip first, on one of the monsters.

Maven was playing her song when she accidentally coughed, causing a high, piercing shriek she had used to kill undead.

 

Den's whip cracked on empty air and he frowned. His ears twitched, "Hidden technique, Heart Whisper," he whispered. His eyes glowed blue, and his vision shifted. He could see glowing hearts on everypony, but when he turned to Lust, it looked like the waves, the ones indicating the soul, where fighting eachoter. It was confusing, and a tad hard to keep track of.

Nightfall rushed forward, streaks of lightning (not very harmful, but frightening) rushing from Demon Blitz. The streaks made him look menacing, as if he had long, sharp fangs and huge wings. He jumped up, spinning the sword in a massive circle, and brought it down, tip first, on one of the monsters.

 

(they're supposed to be silent and invisible.)

 

When the creature was struck by the blade, it detonated.

The remaining creature was still tracking onto Wits, but before it could get close enough, it detonated. Karasu had caused the remaining creature to explode before it could cause any harm. "Like I said, I don't need to touch you. It's just one of the perks."

"That's dirty. That's really dirty," Maven said, frowning. She restarted her victory song.

 

Den rolled his eyes; fair fighting was just asking to get stabbed in the back. He snapped the whip out again.

 

Sapphire concentrated really hard, and began charging her laser again.

Wits frowned.

 

He could tell there was something possible here, something he could do... but he couldn't focus for some reason. He was... hungry. He didn't know why.

 

Oh well, He started to trace the futures, all possible futures, and began looking to see where Lust was.

 

"My eyes are slow..." he said. "My mind is quick."

"You're right, Maven." Lust said. "That is unfair to attack with something like that. You cannot see my power, so you feel secure. But my power is all around you. It's in the very air you breath. It's inside of you." He adjusted his mask. "Come and let me show you what I mean. The intimacy between murderer and victim is unparalleled!"

Nightfall sprung forward, spinning his sword and creating that horrifying image of himself. His voice changed to one that sounded like three ponies: one slightly higher than his normal voice, one slightly lower, and one that was very low.

"Just get you and your six friends out of this world before I buck you into the next universe!"

Wits' mind was moving a thousand miles an hour. "There is a finite amount of space he can conceivably stand. This is Karasu, he has only one reserve of energy to draw off of. I can find methods of generating energy outside of my physical store, which means that if I can weaken him here, then the rest of the fight will be easy," he muttered to himself.

 

"Which means the answers," he said, a little bit louder.

 

"IS FIRE!" And he stamped his hooves, summoning a ring of flames to surround Lust, and mantaining it when the creatures inevitably attacked. At the same time, he pulled Nightfall back with his telekinesis to make sure he wouldn't get burned.

Lust panned his view to the flames around him, simultaneously stomping out a flame on the tail of his coat. "Good job, detective." he said. "You have made me very uncomfortable. I think I should take off this mask. It's getting rather hot." He unlatch his mask and dropped it to the floor. It was then that they could see that he was smiling, and had been for some time.

The flames grew hotter. "Fun fact," Wits pointed out. "Heat travels easier without direct contact, meaning that the fire, surrounding you, has a greater chance of burning you than otherwise. All I have to do is control the flames, make it harder for you to get out, and eventually, it will sap your strength to the bone. You can probably already feel it, can't you?"

Den was beginning to feel funny, and then he realized why. The heart beat of Lust had gotten louder, and more powerful. The mask was off. He had a sinking suspicion that he was going to be lunged at, eventually, by this pony and be effected by some sort of personality power thing. Or explode. That one was possible. He calmed his own heart-rate down, and twirled the whip in a circle around him, trying to think.

The flames grew hotter. "Fun fact," Wits pointed out. "Heat travels easier without direct contact, meaning that the fire, surrounding you, has a greater chance of burning you than otherwise. All I have to do is control the flames, make it harder for you to get out, and eventually, it will sap your strength to the bone. You can probably already feel it, can't you?"

 

"Fire is powerful, but I can use it for something better." Lust opened his mouth wide the flames swirled in the air and formed a funnel connecting to his open mouth. The flames were sucked into Karasu as if they were a harmless liquid. After the flames disappeared, he still continued sucking in the air. The hair on his mane became blonde and he closed his mouth.

 

Jack nudged Wits, "He's absorbed all of the flammable materials in the air around him. I think he's turned himself into an explosive, but I doubt he plans on killing himself."

Wits paused. "I love explosions." He pulled out a rifle and took quick aim, then a single shot, magically guided and predicted where Lust was going to dodge based upon his best estimates of the immediate future, a skill which his maddened prophesy gave him a pretty good pathway into,

Karasu held out his right front hoof in the path of the bullet and caught it in a kinetic field. Because it was an enchanted projectile, he found it quite difficult to stop. A green aura swirled around the bullet and created a bright, green ball.

 

Lust's body was surrounded by the same aura, and it allowed him to hover a few feet in the air.

Den used this moment of distraction to get behind Lust and snap out his whip. At the same time, Sapphire shot of her laser, and Maven played her attack song, which produced visible, blue sound waves towards Lust. Den was feeling a tad bit hungry, but was ignoring it.

Nightfall had been pulled back by Wits, which had pissed him off.

"Now you're going to get it, K. You just pissed me off royally, and that just gets you bucked."

The lightning strikes grew to a tremendous size, and started being focused like a laser. Where ever the sword tip was pointing, a massive lightning beam was being shot out, with little strikes branching off of it. And the sword point was moving in a downward direction slowly toward K as it hung in front of Nightfall. He wasn't touching the sword; his appendages were fully out and he hung in the air.

"The chances of a rather large explosion are approaching 100% quickly," Wits shouted. "In my purely professional opinion, backed by years of experiment and study, my honest, unbiased academic suggestion would have to be that we trigger it and run like Tartarus and Faust themselves are after us."

Lust stretched the green ball until it was nearly the same size he was. When Sapphire's laser came near it, it swirled around the circumference of the circle and was shot into a wall. The same things happened with Maven's sound waves, but they did manage to rip through his shirt and give him two large burn marks on each hoof.

 

 

Nightfall had been pulled back by Wits, which had pissed him off.

"Now you're going to get it, K. You just pissed me off royally, and that just gets you bucked."

When floating, Karasu was considerably slower. He attempted to dash to of the way, but still lost the tail of his coat and a few hairs on his actual tail. When offered a brief moment of respite, he lifted the ball above his head. "It's over for you, but don't worry." He said, "I've heard that burning to death can almost be pleasurable, even orgasmic."
